In Canada, blacks need extra help with their equality, because they were kept as slaves all the way up until the 1980s.

Despite how terribly equal to White men black women are, sometimes they need to have all competition squashed by the state in order to compete effectively. You know, because of racism or whatever.

From the Sun News:

The Ontario government has launched a project to open up promotion possibilities for its employees — but only those who “self-identify as a black female” need apply.

According to documents obtained by QMI Agency, the Administrative Internship Pilot Program is the first Ontario Public Service (OPS) initiative in “recent history” to target a specific group of employees.

“The purpose of this internship program, which has been developed after considering employees’ feedback and OPS employment data, is to begin to increase the representation of black, female employees in functional roles (such as) communications, finance, policy and procurement,” a Dec. 5 memo to all Ministry of Government Services employees reads.

Canada, which is a virtually uninhabited frozen wasteland somewhere to the north of the United States, is way ahead of the curve on PC weirdness. In 1993, NDP Premier Bob Rae put out a job ad which explicitly stated that “White males need not apply.” He ultimately bowed to pressure when folks complained. We’ll see if that happens this time.
