High sales push total marijuana tax revenue over the half billion-dollar mark in Colorado.
This week, state representative, and man whose eyes are two black gimlets of burning hatred for the goyim, (((Jonathan Singer))) received a symbolic check from The Cannabis Community to the amount of $500,000,000 to celebrate the tax revenue on weed sales reaching this benchmark.

The number comes as a pleasant surprise to the state administration, as analysts originally predicted a much lower income.
That includes the taxes on purchases of marijuana for recreational or medical use, as well as fees paid by cannabis businesses. The tax figure is substantially more than some experts predicted in 2012 when Colorado voters approved Amendment 64, which legalized recreational marijuana. At that time, some analysts projected the state would net between $5 and $22 million a year in taxes.
The article goes on to highlight all the supposed benefits of selling drugs to people, like how much money has gone into K-12 education, surveys, research and publication, youth services and so on.
However, the statistically oriented among you may already have noticed a much more disturbing trend.
If tax revenue on weed sales is anything to go by, there seems to be a teensy bit of an increase in weed consumption.
Judging by this graph alone, the weed consumption seems to have shot through the roof, and 2017 is also on its way to becoming another record breaking year. Accordingly, legalizing marijuana means that either people are spending an increasing amount of money on weed, or there’s more weed users [Editor’s Note: Potentially it could also be in part due to week smokers moving there to live in weed paradise, though that would account for only a fraction of the rise on that graph -AA]. Either way, this is pretty shaky moral ground for the state to be on, and judging by the fact that their analysts were off by an order of magnitude, this is a problem they either didn’t consider the scope of, or didn’t care about.
Worse than the idea of the state enriching themselves on our people’s misery however, is the idea of the state adopting the atrocious puns that this awful culture creates. For instance, the Pueblo County tax-funded scholarship program gave out 420,000 dollars in 2017.
420.
Get it?
420 BLAZE IT YOLO HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA (kill me)
You will live to see horrible man-made weed puns beyond your comprehension.
So stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
