Police have arrested a man they said was the driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash in Daytona Beach.
Authorities arrested Juan Alberto Correa, 64, Thursday.
Rusty Bovee, 35, of Daytona Beach, was killed during Wednesday morning’s rush hour near Nova Road and Forest Glen Boulevard.
Police said Bovee was hit across the street from her home at the Nova Glen Apartments.
Crime scene detectives found pieces of the vehicle that hit her near her body. They were able to determine the a headlight at the scene could have possibly been from a 2006-2009 Mitsubishi Raider.
