It was quite a challenge making a Vader helmet this small. It represents the peak of turkish craftsmanship.

The king of the Turkish cockroaches, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has made a move experts described as “pulling the Vader maneuver.”

Washington Times:

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said she told Turkey’s president that Ankara must fulfill all the European Union’s conditions, including revisions to anti-terror laws, to secure visa-free travel for its citizens.

Speaking after meeting President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul on Monday, Merkel also expressed concern about a move to strip legislators of their immunity from prosecution. But she underlined her commitment to an EU-Turkey deal aimed at stemming Europe’s migrant influx amid rising tensions with Ankara.

As part of that agreement, the EU planned to accelerate introduction of visa-free entry for Turks. Turkey has fulfilled most of 72 conditions but its refusal to revise anti-terror laws has emerged as a stumbling block.

Ah, yes, the anti-terror laws. The Turks wouldn’t want to make it too inconvenient to support ISIS, now, would they? These cockroaches’ arrogance is breathtaking. They negotiate this deal, in which they get billions in subsidies from Europe, where they get to send their dudes over at will without visas, where they get to control the flood of rapefugees… and they act like they’re the ones getting the short end of the stick.

Your attitude has been noted, Turks. Enjoy Constantinople while you still can.

Merkel said in comments aired on German television she made clear that “we need the fulfillment of all points.”

Turkey, however, is complaining of “double standards” by the EU and demanding that Brussels keep its side of the bargain.

Erdogan’s economy adviser, Yigit Bulut, told state-run TRT television Monday that Turkey could make “very radical decisions,” including shelving a Customs Union agreement with the EU, if the bloc fails to “meet promises made to Turkish citizens.”

“All sorts of agreements can be suspended, including the Customs Union agreement. All ties with the EU can be revised,” Bulut said.

Ah, the thing is, the Vader maneuver is normally pulled by the guy with the strong hand.

“Yeah, we made a deal, but I have all the guns so I’m just gonna take all your stuff in the end – thanks for cooperating though”.

That we’re allowing some third world Moslem country to pull this classic Hollywood gambit on our base is quite embarrassing. What’s next, is Uganda going to make us “an offer we can’t refuse”? Is Kazakhstan going to ask us if “we feel lucky, punk”?

Our leaders are such wimpy, abject people that they prostrate themselves in front of these powerless primitives at the slightest provocation. Once we have Trump as president, he’ll be going around asking world leaders if “they feel in charge.”

Would you have it any other way?
