A shocking study reveals that being fat is even less healthy than we already knew it was.
The risk of obesity giving people cancer may be ‘considerably underestimated’, a study has warned.
Being fat may actually be more than twice as dangerous as previously thought when it comes to certain forms of the disease.
And excess weight is second only to smoking when it comes to avoidable cancer-causing lifestyles.
Bowel, kidney, pancreatic, ovarian, endometrial and oesophageal cancer are all now thought to be more affected by obesity than earlier estimates.
Experts said the study showed being severely overweight has ‘devastating effects‘ and the NHS warned many people still don’t understand its risks.
Chief executive of the NHS, Simon Stevens, said: ‘While cancer survival is at a record high, many people don’t yet realise that obesity causes cancer.
‘And now there is evidence that it’s a graver danger than first thought.
‘If we continue to pile on the pounds, we’re heading for thousands more avoidable cancer deaths every year.
‘The NHS… is playing its part but we cannot reverse the costly obesity epidemic alone, and families, food businesses and government all need step up and take action.’
The research, led by the France-based International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) looked at how genetic measures of body weight affected cancer risk.
It focused on seven forms of the disease – the six named above and breast cancer – which are thought to cause 80 per cent of obesity-related cancers in the UK.
For many of them, the risk increase was around double what it had previously been thought to be, and for two it was multiplied by more than four times.
Here’s the full data from the IARC study.
Not sure how they didn’t know this already, but okay.
What this proves is what I keep saying: the entire discussion over healthcare in America is a gigantic joke. People can’t pay for their healthcare because they’re fat, the government can’t pay for it because they’re fat. If you’re fat, keeping you alive is incredibly expensive.
The obvious solution is to simply refuse all treatment to fat people, and let them die.
But no – what we have in America is an entirely sick and diseased system, where the government refuses to regulate the food industry, which is making people fat, then refuses to regulate the medical industry, which gets rich off of fat people. Instead, we have this endless, stupid discussion about how we’re going to pay for it.
A full 40% of American adults are obese.
This is the cause of basically 100% of heart disease and apparently twice as much of the cancer as we previously suspected.
Ultimately, if you removed obesity, you’d be removing probably 70% of the total cost of healthcare in America. And then if you removed women’s “birth control” care, including the pills that cause all these hormonal problems and cancers, and the abortion industry which causes all these problems, you’d cut out another 15%. Basically, all you’d have left are problems from drug abuse and homosexuality, and cancer that people get when they’re old, either from smoking or just because they’re old.
This is what people mean when they talk about “sickness care” instead of healthcare. Virtually the entire massive medical industrial complex exists to deal with problems that are easily preventable by not being:
- Fat
- A slut
- A drug addict
- A faggot
And “end of life care” is stupid and a waste, and if you’re in your 70s or 80s (or your 60s, if you’re a smoker) and you get cancer you should just be given a morphine drip and told to make your peace with God, period.
Basically, if you just did:
- Check-ups
- Treatment for easily curable infections
- Dental care
- Surgery after accidents
You could get healthcare down to less than 5% of the current cost. Then it wouldn’t matter if it was private or public healthcare, because whoever paid for it would be able to afford it, so no one would be whining about it.
This is what I mean when I tell you that everything is a gigantic hoax.
It would be very easy to prevent 95% of obesity by simply banning the things that we know are causing it.
To wit:
- Partially-hydrogenated vegetable oil (trans fats)
- High-Fructose Corn Syrup
- Most processed snacks
- Most other processed foods
- Artificial sweeteners
There is no reason these “foods” should be legal. It is literally insane to not ban these foods, and there is no explanation as to why they are not banned.
If I was dictator of America, I could make McDonald’s healthy, without making it any less delicious – and it would only cost about twice what it costs now, the difference of which could be subsidized by the government.
It would be worth it for the government to subsidize this, as the people who live on McDonald’s are poor and the government is paying for their healthcare.
Furthermore, these poor people would stop being fat, which would make them more productive and more intelligent in general, and thus less likely to remain poor.
People want to keep talking about the cost of drugs in America, and yes, that is obviously a gigantic scam. But 95% of these drugs are for problems that are easily preventable!
Basically, this is all a gigantic conspiracy happening right in front of you. The medical industrial complex feeds off of people being unhealthy and so they have a symbiotic relationship with the junk food industrial complex.
This is simply another problem that could be easily solved if people wanted to solve it, and the single reason it isn’t solved is that no one wants to solve it.
