Former Head of Formula One Praises Classy Putin

It’s now awesome when anyone makes any kind of basic statement.

The bar is very low.

Bernie is 91 years old and has no reason to say things he doesn’t think are true. Putin is a symbol of the world Bernie was born into in Britain all those years ago.

Formula One has issued a statement after former chief executive Bernie Ecclestone ignited a heated reaction for telling UK television that he would “take a bullet” for “first-class person” Vladimir Putin.

Ecclestone has frequently described Putin as a friend since the introduction of the Russian Grand Prix to the F1 schedule in 2014.

The British tycoon told ITV breakfast show ‘Good Morning Britain’ on Thursday that he still respected the Russian leader and accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of not doing more to stop the current conflict.

“I’d still take a bullet for him,” Ecclestone replied when asked if he still sees Putin as a friend.

“I’d rather it didn’t hurt, but if it does I’d still take a bullet, because he’s a first-class person. What he’s doing is something that he believed was the right thing he was doing for Russia.”

Ecclestone doubled down on his criticism of Zelensky when asked by presenter Kate Garraway: “So just to understand you clearly, you think that President Zelensky should have done more to avert this war and it could have been avoided by Zelensky’s actions, not by a change in Putin’s actions?”

“Absolutely,” responded Ecclestone, who suggested Zelensky was more suited to his former profession as a comedian. 

“I’m quite sure Ukraine, if they’d wanted to get out of it properly, could have done,” Ecclestone added.

The basic fact, which all masculine men are picking up on, is that Russia now represents what Western civilization used to represent.

When you say that, people will say “oh no, Russia has sluts and abortion, and there are even secret gay bars in Moscow.” Those people don’t understand “degrees” or the power of symbols. Russia is a symbol of traditional Western Christian civilization. The fact that they don’t perfectly live up to that is irrelevant. It’s how they are viewed on the world stage, and it is why they are so hated.

Well, actually, Jews seem to have some other reason for hating them, that is much more ancient. But as far as screeching liberals in general – Russia is viewed as a white, Christian country ruled by an authoritarian white man, and this is considered evil.

That’s literally the only coherent narrative as to why Russia is bad. That’s what they mean when they say Putin is “anti-democracy.” Russia is not communist anymore, so the narrative of why they are evil is much more subtle – it’s whiteness, Christianity, civilization, beauty, health, purpose – all of these things the modern left hates.

Remember when Courtney Love, who is at best a 4, killed her husband that was writing all her songs, then somehow managed to get Billy Corgan to write all her songs for her? I love that she called her band “Hole,” as it was literally a hole for men to pour their creative energy into.

These 1990s songs were so great as they foreshadowed the future, which is the now.
