Fox News has been ramping up its attacks on Donald Trump in the run-up to the 2020 election.
Judge Andrew Napolitano is a long time Fox News commenter, host and columnist, and he’s penned an op-ed this week claiming that the evidence for the impeachment of Trump is unimpeachable.
Of the “proof,” he writes for Fox News:
The proof is largely undisputed, except by the president himself. It consists of admissions, testimony and documents, which show that Trump sought to induce the government of Ukraine to become involved in the 2020 presidential election.
Specifically, Trump held up $391 million in American military hardware and financial aid to Ukraine – which is at war with Russia after the Russian seizure and continual occupation of what was until 2014 a Ukrainian province – until Ukrainian prosecutors commenced a criminal investigation of former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter.
That is a mouthful of facts to swallow in one bite, but the legal implications are straightforward and profound. Whether one agrees with federal law or not, it is a crime to solicit assistance for a federal campaign from a foreign government. As well, the crime of bribery consists of a government official refraining from performing a legal duty until a thing of value is delivered to him.
Trump admits he held up the $391 million. He admits he asked for a favor from the Ukrainian president. And he admits that the favor was to dig up dirt on Joe Biden and his son. He even gilded the lily by publicly asking the Chinese government to investigate Biden.
Enter Attorney General William Barr. After knowledge of the presidential holdup of the $391 million in aid to Ukraine became public, the president asked Barr for a formal legal opinion that dirt on a political opponent is not a thing of value.
Barr had his researchers and writers in the Office of Legal Counsel oblige. That legal opinion, which Trump has touted as a form of exoneration, has been so widely mocked in legal and political circles – because dirt on an opponent is the most valuable commodity for a political campaign, and candidates pay dearly for it – that congressional Republicans have stopped referring to it. They know better.
The president was just investigated by Robert Mueller and his crew upon the allegation that he and his campaign unlawfully collaborated with the government of Russia to help him win the 2016 election. That investigation found some evidence of collaboration but not enough to indict. And now, incredibly, Trump has admitted seeking to involve the government of Ukraine in the 2020 presidential election.
One can see that the reason Republicans have been attacking the process of impeachment is largely because there is no credible defense to the proof of impeachment. That proof has been hiding in plain sight – in the president’s public words and the context to be provided by witnesses – and will soon be revealed.
Trump telling the Ukrainian Jews to investigate Biden so they can get more military aid doesn’t seem unbelievable. I would actually dispute that is what the documents themselves show – was this really quid pro quo, or just a gentleman asking for a favor? I would also dispute the idea that he owed the Ukraine the weapons in the first place and was thus “withholding” them. Delivery of these weapons is left to the president’s discretion.
But whatever. Who cares?
Politicians do this stuff all the time, Trump is just the only one dumb enough to do it with a bunch of Jews and thus end up getting called out on it.

The House of Representatives voted Thursday 232-196 to pass a resolution formalizing its impeachment inquiry into President Trump. Just two Democrats voted no — Reps. Collin Peterson of Minnesota and Jeff Van Drew of New Jersey.
Amid the debate, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., called it a “sad day.”
“It’s a sad day because nobody comes to Congress to impeach a president of the United States. No one,” she told reporters. “We come here to do the work, make the future better for our children, for America’s future. We take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution, and that’s what we cannot ignore and will not ignore when the president’s behavior indicates that that investigation, that inquiry, is necessary.”
But the government is moving forward with this. I think in no small part because Fox News is not there to defend Trump anymore.
Again, we are left astonished at how absolutely retarded it was for Donald Trump to allow the Jews to silence all of his supporters.
With very little resistance, he allowed almost all of his supporters on social media to be banned.
He also allowed Antifa to run wild on the streets, attacking his supporters, and then allowed for those supporters to be sent to prison after being attacked.
Why doesn’t he make it his absolute number one priority to provide some kind of free speech protections for his supporters on the internet?
If he really can’t make Twitter and YouTube allow free speech, then why not dump however many hundreds of millions it takes into providing a government-run First Amendment version of these services? Everyone would go there more or less immediately.
Why does he not pardon the Proud Boys, recently sentenced to 4 years in prison, literally for defending themselves when attacked by these fed-supported Antifa outside a MAGA event?
It’s just all so dumb.
All of these pointless, endless, unforced errors.
All of us wanted Trump to succeed. We put so much into it.
But instead, he surrounded himself with people who wanted him to fail and parasites like Charlie Kirk and his donors who just wanted to feed off of him in order to push their own sick agenda.
The disloyalty that Queen Ann talked about may be his downfall.
