The comic book nerds are all screaming with joy at Disney’s purchase of Fox, because it means there will be an Avengers vs X-Men movie.

I don’t want to see that movie.

I don’t want to see any more comic book movies, ever.

Please, I just don’t. Please, please stop making these films.

Comic Book Movies:

It looks like Fox is one step closer to completing the sale of its assets, as the company has officially accepted the latest, and largest offer from Disney.

Earlier this morning, The Walt Disney Company made an updated offer of $71.3 billion to purchase 21st Century Fox, topping the $65 billion bid from Comcast. Bloomberg now reports that Fox has accepted Disney’s proposal, making it the offer to beat in the bidding war.

The term “accepted” may be misinterpreted in this scenario. This doesn’t mean that Fox is now selling to Disney for $71.3 billion and everything is a done deal. All this means is that the company is officially recognizing Disney’s bid as the single best offer on the table. If a better offer isn’t made, this will be the deal that moves forward. Comcast still has an opportunity to return with an even higher bid.

However, this scenario is growing increasingly difficult, as Disney’s new offer is hard to beat. The offer comes with a $38-per-share stock price, which is about $10 more than the company offered in its initial bid late last year. Additionally, Disney’s offer comes with the agreement to take on Fox’s net debt, which increases the overall total of the transaction to $85.1 billion.

While the back-and-forth may not have been what Disney expected, the company certainly sounds confident that it will weather the storm.

The government has to stop this.

We need more than one media company.

Unless it’s going to be some kind of federal media company run by AI.

We need more than one company.

These mergers are out of control.

It used to be illegal. Ronald Reagan legalized it. All throughout American history before that, monopolies were illegal.

And please, man, I don’t want Avengers vs. X-Men.

No one wants that. Even if they’re saying they do. They have Stockholm Syndrome.

This is a form of Jewish torture, these comic book movies. A way to humiliate the goyim.

And the only ones that were watchable were the Fox ones – Wolverine 3 and Deadpool were Fox.

This new Fox New Mutants looks okay…

…at least it’s better than Avengers.

(But that poor girl from Game of Thrones – going through puberty in public is difficult enough, but to go through puberty to end up… ugly… is really rough.)

Please, someone stop this.

Donald Trump, help us.

I remember talk of your anti-trust team working on this, Mr. President.

But now I hear a deal is being reached…?

Just shut it down.

We as a nation do not deserve Avengers vs. X-Men.

It simply is not fair.
