This is about a catholic movement in France, Civitas, becoming a political party. It became known during protests against gay marriage in Paris. The left already called them “worse than ISIS”. The new party might be a boost for Marine Le Pen’s Front National: she might be seen as a “moderate” all of the sudden and not so much a bigoted/racist/ nazi you name it.
The parti wants to restore French and christian values. There’s short interview with the Civitas’ president Alain Escada.
