These hippies were protesting the building of an airport quite some time ago. They occupied an area and made a shanty town to do so.
The airport was never built, but they refused to leave. French cops are now sending in armored vehicles to physically remove them.
It looks like there are a lot of Moslems in there as well, so nobody of any value is actually getting hurt here.
