The joke President of America, Kenyan National Barack Obama, has continued his rampage of making the office of the US Presidency into a depraved pop culture joke by writing a letter to the Grateful Dead and thanking them for rocking out for 50 years.

The Dead just played their “final show” in Chicago.

On Friday (03Jul15), President Obama paid tribute to the rockers, who played a show in support of his 2008 campaign.

He wrote, “Here’s to fifty years of The Grateful Dead, an iconic American band that embodies the creativity, passion, and ability to bring people together that makes American music so great.

“Enjoy this weekend’s celebration of your fans and legacy. And as (late frontman) Jerry (Garcia) would say, ‘Let there be songs to fill the air.'”

I didn’t even realize the Dead were still a thing. But I am often not aware of such things. It’s good to have an African President to keep track of the happenings in the music world so that I don’t have to.
