Well, it’s official.
President Joe Biden said on Thursday he has chosen Karine Jean-Pierre to be White House press secretary, succeeding Jen Psaki and becoming the first Black and openly gay person to serve as the public face of a U.S. administration.
Psaki, who leaves the job on May 13, had said early in the Biden administration, which started in January of 2021, that she planned to stay about a year.
Jean-Pierre has served as deputy press secretary since the beginning of Biden’s term. She worked on his 2020 presidential campaign, in President Barack Obama’s White House, and was chief public affairs officer for MoveOn.org, a progressive advocacy group.
I did not realize she was a lesbian. (All black women look like lesbians.)
I’m so sick of these “the first” bits they are so obsessed with. I hate to sound like a boomer, but: how does her blackness or lesbianism affect her job performance? (They don’t even bother to mention that she’s the first female Frenchman to serve as press secretary.)
Whatever.
Thank you @POTUS and @FLOTUS for this opportunity. It is a true honor. I look forward to serving this Administration and the American people. I have big shoes to fill. @PressSec has been a great friend, mentor and excellent press secretary. pic.twitter.com/1knmbe2Nxq

The fact is: Jen Psaki was the single talented member of the Biden Administration, and the fact they are not holding onto her shows that these people are too incompetent to be aware of their own incompetence.
I will say this gay French negress is less offensive than the average negress – she’s done press conferences before, and she doesn’t come across like an American female black person.
Outgoing White House press sec. Jen Psaki congratulates her successor Karine Jean-Pierre, who will be the first Black and first openly gay person to hold the position.

But it doesn’t matter. Even if she isn’t outright offensive, there is zero chance she will be able to keep up with what Jen Psaki was able to keep up with.
I said without humor that if I were running the Biden Administration, I would make Jen Psaki the Secretary of State. Obviously, all of this stuff is run by council now anyway – all you need is someone who is able to appear in public and answer questions. Jen Psaki was the only member of the Biden Administration who was able to answer questions normally.
Now they have Joe Biden himself, Kamala Harris, and Antony Blinken – not one of them can act normal in public.
