In Gaza, even food is a weapon.
A three-old Palestinian boy was killed after pallets of aid air dropped in the southern Gazan city of Khan Younis, his family members said, over the weekend.
The humanitarian crisis has worsened as Israel continues to attack Gaza amid its ongoing war with the Palestinian militant group Hamas.
The incident happened when the family was eating breakfast and pallets dropped from aeroplanes and careened towards the displacement area, the grandfather of the boy, who is also named Sami Ayyad, told CNN.

Several family members tried to take cover inside their improvised tents, however, the falling aid killed the three-year-old on the spot.
Ayyad’s aunt and cousin were also wounded on their foot and face respectively.
“I was sitting here with the boy, and the moment I left him…the package fell on him,” Ayyad said. “There was only a second between me and him. I carried him and started running.
“We have no hospitals. I ran like crazy, but the boy died instantly. I couldn’t save him. Blood started coming out of his nose and mouth,” he added.
Several countries have been air-dropping aid into Gaza, including the United States, Britain, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Ayyad added, “We don’t want aid. We want dignity. Enough with the humiliation and insult that we are receiving from the Arabs, not just the Israelis. Those who have no mercy on us — look at our children, our women, our elderly.”
Sami’s uncle, Mohammad Ayyad, told CNN, “Our lives are… humiliation, death, horror. I sleep at night not sure if I will wake up. We are human beings, not animals to drop food (to) from the sky.”
There was another story like this, and Anglin was attacked for saying “food as a weapon.”
But they’re supposed to be dropping this shit with parachutes.

There is no video, but they’re either not using parachutes or not attaching them correctly, or they’re cheap and fall apart in the air because these huge boxes of canned food are just dropping like rocks. At that point, they are effectively weapons.
Clearly, there must be a way to drop these boxes slower, but the people doing the aid – who are themselves likely Jewish, running a scam charity – do not care about doing this correctly.
