A wheelchair user was brutally attacked on a bus in Lüdenscheid, Germany. The disabled man, travelling on bus line 87, was attacked from behind by an unknown man.
German media say the man was sitting in his wheelchair in the designated place for disabled people talking to a friend.
When the bus stopped at the “Hülscheiderbaum” in Lüdenscheid bus stop, a passenger came from behind and suddenly grabbed the wheelchair of the man and tried to pull it backwards through the open door.
The 36-year-old male victim tried to defend himself and turned toward the offender. The wheelchair user then got several punches in the face with the culprit escaping the bus towards Freisenberger Straße.
According to police, the victim was injured during the attack by the unknown man requiring medical treatment on the spot.
