One thing about saving all of Africa and the Middle East by importing their entire populations into your country: it’s not cheap.

Good thing the Germans have all this gold they pulled out of Jews’ teeth before they gassed them in those chambers and turned them into lampshades.

Germany will spend around $6.6 billion to cope with some 800,000 migrants and refugees expected to have crossed into the country by the end of 2015, the government said early Monday.

These types of numbers given by governments are usually about half of the actual real life numbers.

I think by the end of the year, Germany will have 1.5 million vibrant new Germans. No idea how much it will cost, but a lot more than $6.6 billion.

Anyway, even if these were the real numbers, we are left with the question:

Why the hell?

The announcement by Chancellor Angela Merkel’s coalition government came after Germany and neighboring Austria threw open their borders to the wave of refugees making their way north and west from the Middle East, Africa and elsewhere. Hungary has been letting the human tide move on after holding it up for days.

Well, at least she stands up to those evil bastards in Hungary.

But wait, back to the question:

Why the hell?

“We had to give a strong signal of humanity to show that Europe’s values are valid also in difficult times. Hungary’s handling of the crisis is unbearable,” said Germany’s Secretary-General Yasmin Fahimi.

Ah, okay.

That series of words makes complete and total sense to me.

“Germany: A Nation of Valid Values (Unlike Hungary)”

You could sell all sorts of things with a catchphrase like that.

Budapest sparked outrage after putting migrants in holding camps and a series of confrontations between Hungarian police and refugees were caught on film.

Outrage among who? The migrants themselves? Yasmin Fahimi?

With whom, specifically, was this outrage sparked?

But will Germany keep them all?

Munich police told NBC News that 28,500 people had arrived in the city over the past week, with 17,800 on Saturday and Sunday alone. Authorities said the city was running out of beds, and would be sending people to other states within Germany much more quickly.

But still the question I have:

Why the hell?

Ah, but finally, we have an answer.

As the BBC tells us, this is part of a German plan to make money from the taxes of these “migrants.”

So to put it another way, it is arguably particularly useful to Germany to have an influx of young grateful families from Syria or elsewhere, who may well be keen to toil and strive to rebuild their lives and prove to their hosts that they are not a burden – in the way that successive immigrant waves have done all over the world (including Jews like my family in London’s East End).

Every. Single. Time.

Here is the thing. Wherever you stand in the debate on whether immigration is a good or bad thing – and most economists would argue that immigration promotes growth – right now immigration looks much more economically useful to Germany than to the UK.

Which is perhaps one of the unspoken reasons why Germany is being much more welcoming to asylum seekers from Syria and elsewhere right now.

That said, some business leaders and a couple of Tory ministers gave me what can only be described as an off-message critique of David Cameron’s approach to the migrant crisis over the weekend.

They said that Angela Merkel is creaming off the most economically useful of the asylum seekers, by taking those that have shown the gumption and initiative to risk life and limb by fleeing to Europe.

Those sneaky Germans.

Claiming to do this for “valid values,” when in actuality it is a gigantic money-making scheme.

They are going to make a fortune off these people.

This is a veritable herd of cash cows.
