Isn’t it some kind of ethical breach for Chris Cuomo to interview his brother Andrew Cuomo about a partisan matter such as this virus?
I don’t know how often they do this, but it seems that in the Age of Trump, in the middle of a national crisis that is being blamed on Trump, this would be a violation of ethics.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo says he has a team that is developing a plan to restart New York state’s economy, adding that there is “an art form” to managing a public health crisis while restarting the economy.
Speaking to CNN host Chris Cuomo, his brother, on Monday night, the New York governor was asked to respond to President Trump’s comments on speeding up the recovery in weeks as opposed to months.
“The president is very concerned about the economy. The economy was doing well — the economy is now truly suffering. The consequences haven’t even been felt yet because not only have you stopped the revenue machine — you’ve increased the expense machine, OK? So those two things are going to compound each other,” the older Cuomo said.
“I actually have a group that is working on the restart of the economy because I get it, too. This is New York and we’re with the home of so much of this. So coming up with the plan to restart the economy is very important,” he added.

“What we did is, we just closed everything down as quickly as we could. Shut all the doors, border all the windows. There was no art to what we did, no nuance … We’ll restart the economy with a smart public health strategy, because closing the door on everyone was only because we didn’t know better,” the governor said.
I tried to listen to Cuomo the Elder talk about his state’s crisis yesterday, and I just couldn’t even take it. The whole thing could be summed up as:
- Doomsday
- Trump’s fault
He’s telling people it’s spreading out of control and it’s going to kill everyone.
In actual fact, nothing is happening and this is all a hoax.
A few people are dying that would have died from the flu anyway, it is going to go away in the springtime, there is no crisis – but even if there were, Trump is doing whatever. And the DEMON-RATS are cockblocking MY MONEY.
