I think everyone can pretty well agree that the rise of the surveillance state has been a very negative event. However, when the same people whining about domestic spying are calling for mass immigration from Moslem countries, the narrative completely collapses.
The Guardian is on the forefront of begging for Europe to be Islamized, and they then have the nerve to come out and whine about privacy.
Government officials are wasting no time in attempting to exploit the tragedy in Paris to pass invasive anti-privacy laws and acquire extraordinary new powers that they have wanted for years. In the process, they are making incredibly dishonest arguments and are receiving virtually no pushback from the media.
Absent any actual information or evidence so far about intelligence failures leading up to the deplorable terrorist attack in Paris, pundits spent the weekend speculating that Edward Snowden and surveillance reform were to blame for the fact that the attack went undetected. Then on Monday, in an epic episode of blame shifting, the CIA director, John Brennan, reportedly said privacy advocates have undermined the ability of spies to monitor terrorists.
It’s obviously false that electronic spying can’t stop terrorism. It can and often does. The argument that it can’t is based on nothing.
And obviously the government abuses these laws to spy on everyone, but a big part of what leaves them open to abuse is that because of political correctness, you can’t put something in the law which says “only for Moslems.”
It’s the same thing with the TSA. Why should Whites be subjected to invasive searches when everyone knows they aren’t going to do anything? Because it would be racist not to.

Liberals being both pro-Moslem immigration and anti-spying is an example of doublethink. It’s very similar to when they say you don’t need guns because you have the police, and then also say that all cops are evil racists just out shooting people for no reason.
No one can explain what the positive aspect of importing millions of Moslems into your country is, but clearly if you are going to do that, you need to have some sort of a system to keep them from killing you. Obviously, the governments of Europe an America want to keep bringing these people in, so they are going to do everything they can to prevent more terrorist attacks.
Probably, that is the main reason they wish to increase the legality of mass-surveillance. But there are also devious reasons, certainly. There just isn’t any way to avoid it being abused.
Just as the way to end gun violence in America is to remove the Blacks, the way to end invasive government surveillance is to remove kebab. When the kebab is removed, there will no longer be any need to spy on people.
Like everything else, it goes back to race. We just wouldn’t have these types of problems in White countries, and trying to fix these problems without acknowledging the racial dynamics involved just leads to confusion.
