If there were only one thing that made me jealous of Israel, it would have to be the big, beautiful wall.
But there’s more than one thing.
I’m also deeply jealous of their use of genetic testing to exclude people of other races from applying for citizenship, their not allowing foreigners to marry their women, and their refusal to accept endless young brown immigrant men.
I think the way that their snipers shoot the brown border protestors in the legs is a little cruel and excessive. Surely, they could succeed with conventional crowd control tactics if they aren’t taking fire. But this is better, in any case, than the Western policy towards brown border rushers, which is to let them in and give them endless free money and license to commit crimes.
Now, the Jews have drawn a hard line against the expression of foreign religions, taking a bold new step in making me absolutely despair at my lack of Jewish privilege.
I’m not even mad. I’m used to it.
I just, I really wish we were allowed to do this.
Communications Minister David Amsalem threatened Tuesday to take a new Hebrew-language evangelical channel off the air if it turned out to be proselytizing.
On Monday, Haaretz reported that Shelanu TV had received a license to broadcast in Israel despite having stated publicly that it intends “to take the gospel of Jesus into the homes and lives and hearts of the Jewish people.”
Under the terms of its license, Shelanu (Hebrew for “Ours”) is prohibited from broadcasting content that wields “undue influence” on viewers. This would include proselytizing.
“We won’t allow any missionary channel to operate in the State of Israel – not at any time and not under any circumstances,” Amsalem, a member of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party, said in a statement.
He noted that the Cable and Satellite Broadcasting Council, which awarded the license, is a sovereign body and would make the final decision on whether to pull the plug on the new channel.
“But as soon as I heard about the incident, I asked the council’s chairman to launch a comprehensive investigation to determine that no channel is violating the terms of its license, and if indeed this channel is engaged in missionary activities, it will be taken down immediately,” Amsalem said.
Under Israeli law, it is forbidden to proselytize to a person under 18 without the consent of a parent. It is also forbidden to offer material benefits in the process of proselytizing.
Shelanu is the Israeli affiliate of God TV, an international Christian media network that broadcasts in some 200 countries around the world. God TV focuses much of its programming on young audiences.
I do not think that this is very necessary in this case. Christianity has not been a threat to the Jews since the Second Vatican Council and the analogous liberalizations of the protestant churches.
But, on principle, I understand.
I would also very much like to be free of wealthy foreigners broadcasting their alien values in an attempt to subvert my native culture.
It just so happens, in fact, that our media is mostly composed of Jews, who constantly push every manner of slut liberation, abortion, homosexualization, trannyism, consumerism, race riotism, jihad acceptance, atheism, and pandemic conspiracy theories through every available medium of news, entertainment and education.
So, if Israel doesn’t want foreign cultural programming, I understand. I don’t want it either. So, they should take back some of these subversive Jews who have been bombarding us, non-stop, with Jewish cultural programming.
Yes, I think that would be fair.
We could all get along that way.
