Now that the Dems have the House, they can cause trouble for Trump with more investigative shenanigans.
Which, like, damn.
I wish I was on the Dem’s team.
They’re like the Cobra Kai of political parties – no mercy.
You have to admire their focus and complete dedication to destroying their opponents using any means necessary. If we had that same kind of fight on our side, we might actually be able to use the unprecedented mandate that America gave Trump and the Republican party.
Instead, we’re on the defensive. Always on the defensive. Just reacting to whatever new scheme the Dems cook up and never attacking back.
Democrat members of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform will investigate the personal email use of senior White House advisor Ivanka Trump, according to a report.
An unnamed Democrat aide told The Hill on Tuesday that the committee will continue its “investigation of the presidential records act and federal records act, and we want to know if Ivanka complied with the law.”
Trump is said to have sent hundreds of emails regarding government matters from a personal email address, according to the Washington Post.
This is the equivalent of a little kid sticking his tongue out and going, “nya-nya serves you right!” and blowing a raspberry at you.
But what was Ivanka even doing over email during the Trump transition period?
She says that she was “setting up appointments” and that she hadn’t been assigned an official government email yet, so that’s why she was relying on a private email. After she got the official email, she started using it instead…

Fuggggg. Trump really did let her pick out a cabinet for him, didn’t he?
I would be surprised if the Dems got anywhere with this, but in the end, it doesn’t matter. The whole situation looks very bad.
They even got a familiar-sounding hashtag trending.
The hashtag #LockHerUp trended on Twitter on Monday evening, as critics reacted to the apparent hypocrisy regarding the issue.
Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci said Ivanka Trump’s use of email was “hypocritical.”
Et tu, Mooch?
“Well, certainly I think it’s hypocritical. I think even Ivanka, if she was interviewed about, she’d have to say it was a mistake. You can’t do that in that position,” Scaramucci told CNN in an interview on Tuesday.
Former White House legislative affairs director Marc Short told CNN that “it’s hypocritical and certainly it looks bad.”
“I’m sure the media will have a field day with it today,” he continued.
Ivanka Trump has not made a statement on the record about the incident.
All of this begs the question: why was Ivanka tasked with anything at all?
Why didn’t Trump listen to Ann Coulter?
I’m just surprised that the Dems would go after Ivanka when she’s so clearly got one foot in their camp and one foot in her father’s.
Strange.
I thought they would start with Don Jr.
I hope he’s ready for when they come for him next.
