Jerry Falwell Jr. has been subjected to a targeted hit by the media.
He’s now been forced to resign from Liberty University under the most humiliating possible circumstances.
It began with Falwell posting a picture of a party he was at on social media, and ended with the media digging up his wife’s affair with the pool boy.
This situation demonstrates the absolute absurdity of the American obsession with crossing the public with the private.
Jerry Falwell Jr. confirmed on Monday night that he had resigned from evangelical Liberty University – ending a bizarre episode in which he was said to have quit, and then denied it.
Falwell told ABC that his resignation was official, and he was stepping down as chancellor of the Lynchburg, Virginia-based Christian school, after a pool boy claimed the evangelist watched while he had sex with his wife.
A senior school official earlier on Monday night said he had resigned from his leadership post, but Falwell then told several news outlets that he does not plan to leave permanently.
A school official confirmed on Monday – the first day of classes for students – that Falwell had agreed to resign, The Washington Post reported.
Falwell then said the reports of his resignation were ‘completely false’.
‘I have not resigned. I will be on indefinite leave,’ Falwell later told POLITICO.

Falwell said he had told the Liberty Board of Trustees earlier in the summer that he needed a break from work.
He told Virginia Business that the board agreed he take a ‘leave of absence’ after a ‘stupid picture’ emerged on Instagram showing him and his female assistant with their pants unzipped and bellies sticking out.
‘I don’t care what you call it. I’ve been at this for so many years and under so much stress, I decided I needed a three-month break,’ Falwell said.
He said he’s ‘enjoying it, except for the press.’
The controversy erupted after Giancarlo Granda, 29, spoke out on Monday in an interview with Reuters where he contradicted Falwell’s claims that he was trying to extort the pair and had an affair with his wife, and gave more details about his alleged sexual relationship with them.
The Reuters article is written by one Aram Roston, and it is disgusting.
No evidence is presented in it for the claim that Jerry was involved in a cuckolding fetish situation.
In a claim likely to intensify the controversy surrounding one of the most influential figures in the American Christian conservative movement, a business partner of Jerry Falwell Jr has come forward to say he had a years-long sexual relationship involving Falwell’s wife and the evangelical leader.
Giancarlo Granda says he was 20 when he met Jerry and Becki Falwell while working as a pool attendant at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel in March 2012. Starting that month and continuing into 2018, Granda told Reuters that the relationship involved him having sex with Becki Falwell while Jerry Falwell looked on.
Granda showed Reuters emails, text messages and other evidence that he says demonstrate the sexual nature of his relationship with the couple, who have been married since 1987. “Becki and I developed an intimate relationship and Jerry enjoyed watching from the corner of the room,” Granda said in an interview. Now 29, he described the liaisons as frequent – “multiple times per year” – and said the encounters took place at hotels in Miami and New York, and at the Falwells’ home in Virginia.
His friendship with the Falwells eventually soured, Granda told Reuters, in part because he wanted to dissolve his ties with the couple and fell into a business dispute with them.
Granda first emerged as a figure in the Falwells’ circle two years ago, when BuzzFeed News reported that the couple had befriended Granda and gone into business with him, buying a Miami Beach youth hostel in 2013. At the time of the BuzzFeed article, a representative of the Falwell family said Granda was “offered a share” in Alton Hostel LLC because Granda lived in Miami and would act as a manager of the youth hostel. Corporate records show that Granda currently has a stake in that venture.
Becki Falwell did not respond to emails or phone and text messages from Reuters. After Reuters presented its initial reporting early last week to the Falwells, a lawyer for Jerry Falwell, Michael Bowe, said the evangelical leader “categorically denies everything you indicated you intend to publish about him.”
On Sunday night, however, as Reuters was preparing to publish this article, Jerry Falwell issued a statement to the Washington Examiner in which he said that his wife had had an affair with Granda and that Granda had been trying to extort money from the couple over the matter. Granda denies any such intent, saying he was seeking to negotiate a buyout from a business arrangement he says he had with the couple.
So, here’s the deal: it is not at all unlikely that this guy went to Aram Roston with information about the affair, and Roston came up with the idea of the cuckolding fetish element himself.
Regardless: whose problem is this? It sounds to me like it is the problem of Jerry Falwell Jr., and not the student body of Liberty University, where Falwell has been extremely successful. He’s pulled the school out of massive debt, and made it profitable.
This is the way the Jews always destroy people: they take things that are true or untrue about their private lives, and put them front and center, arguing that these private things define the person’s public role.
I’ve personally experienced this: I’ve been attacked in particular over my preference for Asian women and told that I should stop writing a website because of that. This happened within the first year of running the site. Imagine if it had been shut down because of lobbying by people who dug up my social media, and started saying I wasn’t a pure enough person for their liking, so they wanted this site shut down? Not only did they not want to read it – that could be solved by simply not reading it – they wanted it to be shut down so no one else could read it either. Because they were just that concerned about my personal sex life.
In fact, I do not encourage white men to marry or have children with Asian women. I encourage the exact opposite of that – I encourage men to do their best to figure out how to make a relationship work with a white woman. I myself have been doing that in my own life for a long time, but that shouldn’t even be relevant. As a public person, I should be judged for what I do publicly, what I create in the public realm, not over some personal problem I have.
When I was on the cover of The Atlantic magazine, the faggot author spent the entire thousands of word long piece on gossip, most of which he invented himself outright – going so far as to claim I had gay sex with a black man and lying about my height. In those thousands and thousands of words, the author spent approximately zero time covering any of my ideas. He just called me a “Nazi,” declared that I was evil, and proceeded to washer-woman type gossip.
I mention my own story here because most of you are probably not public people, and would not understand how this works. If you are on the right and someone doesn’t like you, they never attempt to disagree with any element of your public self, and immediately go directly for your private self.
Human beings are not perfect. Everyone has issues in their personal lives which, if you dug them up, could be presented in a way that makes that person look bad. I think there should be a hard ban on judging people based on information that journalists dig up about people’s private lives. Because all this becomes is a situation where the entire thrust of politics is about how successful journalists are in digging up dirt on a person.
The claim is always that what a person does in their private life reflects on their public self. I suppose on the cosmic scale, this may be true. But the reality is that everyone has personal problems, and some of those people have very successful public lives.
The private lives of public figures should be a matter of public concern only insofar as those matters directly and demonstrably affect their ability to perform their job. That is to say, a corruption scandal would be a matter of public concern, as if a person is embezzling money they are not performing their duties properly. Family matters and sexual matters should never be considered.
When Jerry Falwell Jr. took over Liberty University in 2007, the school had $6.3 million. Right now, they have $1.6 billion. That is going to be true whether or not his wife had an affair and whether or not he has a cuckolding fetish.
I can see how knowing that Jerry Falwell Jr. has a cuckolding fetish (if it is proved) would make it difficult for him to have a position running a Christian university. But this is only a news story because journalists who are trying to destroy the man for political reasons dug it up (and possibly manufactured parts of it). If we had a society that rejected the idea that we should dig through people’s personal lives and find some problem and use it to destroy them, then it never would have been revealed at all.
This process only harms the right, because the media only uses its vast resources to dig up the personal problems of the right. When the lives of left-wingers become public by accident, we’re just told it doesn’t matter. Pictures of Bill Clinton being massaged by what the media claims is a “sex slave” were released the night Bill Clinton was giving a speech at the Democrat National Convention. The Democrats did not cancel the speech. They didn’t even comment on it. The media didn’t make an issue of it and the story just disappeared.
If the right-wing had any integrity at all, any slight ability to defend themselves, we would simply stop allowing our public figures to be destroyed by the media in this way. We do not benefit from it, and it is tearing us down completely.
The private and the public should be considered separate realities, and a right-wing public figure should only ever be judged by what he does publicly, as long as what he does in private doesn’t relate directly to his duties. As it stands right now, the Jewish media can simply pour through anyone’s private life and destroy his career. No – they don’t destroy his career. They can pour through his private life and thereby convince us to destroy his career.
Jerry Falwell has done nothing but good for this country. He is one of the last people defending traditional family values on the public stage, in a time when most churches in this country are flying faggot flags.
Of course, the right won’t stop doing this. Because we love losing. The left comes in and says, “hey, I’ve got a great new way for you to lose even harder!” and right-wingers say, “oh boy, that sounds great! I love losing!”
I personally don’t think we have a right to lose like this, because I think what we are fighting for matters too much. I don’t think we have a right to leave a completely destroyed civilization to our children. But I’m in the extreme minority. Most right-wingers would happily sacrifice their children’s future in order to feel good about tearing down one of their own over a personal tragedy.
Donald Trump should come out and say, “what business is this of anyone’s?”
