So the judge in this case is Jewish.

He might just get off.
A federal judge on Thursday denied the bail application of wealthy investor Jeffrey Epstein, who is accused of sexually abusing dozens of underage girls. The ruling comes after prosecutors argued Epstein is a danger to the public and could flee the United States.
The ruling means Epstein will remain behind bars while he fights charges that he exploited dozens of girls in New York and Florida in the early 2000s.
“I doubt that any bail package can overcome danger to the community,” U.S. District Judge Richard Berman said Thursday.
The defense had argued he should be allowed to await trial under house arrest with electronic monitoring at his $77 million Manhattan mansion. They said he wouldn’t run and was willing to pledge a fortune of at least $559 million as collateral.
In a court filing Wednesday, prosecutors disputed a claim by defense lawyers that there was no evidence he’d ever used it, saying the Austrian passport contained stamps reflecting it was used to enter France, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia in the 1980s.
Prosecutors have also argued Epstein was a risk of trying to influence witnesses after it was discovered he had paid a total of $350,000 to two people, including a former employee, in the last year. That came after the Miami Herald reported the circumstances of his state court conviction in 2008, which led to a 13-month jail term and a plea deal that allowed him to avoid a federal prosecution.

Lawyers for Epstein said their client has stayed clean since pleading guilty to soliciting a minor for prostitution charges in Florida in 2008 and that the federal government is reneging on the plea deal.
They obviously are reneging on the plea deal.
I don’t even understand how this is legal. I mean, I’m not a lawyer. But he’s already been tried for these crimes. Alexander Acosta let him go last time and it just is not legal to try someone twice for the same crimes.
You really have to wonder what the hell is going on with this.
What could possibly be the point of arresting him at all? The media is acting like this had something to do with the Miami Herald push to release those documents, but it can’t have anything to do with that – the decision to maybe release those documents three days before his arrest. You can’t put a case together in three days.
Someone else ordered him arrested, then sent the FBI to raid his house and collect all his CP blackmail material, which he collected for the Mossad.
So, the FBI has it now. I mean, apparently. They’ve raided all his houses, and they found CP – it was just on CDs. If he was keeping his personal CP on CDs, he would probably keep his blackmail CP on CDs too, wouldn’t he?
I sure hope Trump has it all now. He knew the guy for a long time, obviously knew what he was involved in, and knew those tapes were in his house.
It’s like the Ring of Power.
If he had a stash of videos of some huge portion of the entire deep state, along with Congressmen, actors and everyone else, having sex with underage girls, he could just do whatever the hell he wanted to do.
Note that I think this is very unlikely. But it is technically possible.
