The Jewish Secretary of State, John Kerry, has declared that the US will not sit idle as the citizens of Crimea decide their own destiny.
The US secretary of state claims The US and EU will take a ‘serious series of steps’ if a referendum on Crimea joining Russia goes ahead on Sunday. John Kerry says he hopes to avoid these actions, which include sanctions, through agreements reached when he meets his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov on Friday
Again, we are left without a clear picture of what these vague threats mean in real terms. I am personally convinced that a military option is off the table at this point. However, why is it that American officials continue to feel the need to make threats, when it is clear that the Russian Tsar is not moved by them? Surely, this only serves to make them look silly at home and abroad, as they continue to do nothing while threatening to do something.
Kerry has also made it clear that the US won’t recognize the referendum.
In this speech today, he again threatened vaguely. “There will be costs” appeared once more.
Kerry’s British counterpart, William Hague, has also claimed that the legitimate referendum in Crimea does not have legitimacy.
Meanwhile, Russia has declared an unequivocal right to defend her people in the Ukraine.
Russia realizes its responsibility for the lives of fellow citizens and nationals in Ukraine and reserves the right to protect them, the Russian Foreign Ministry said when commenting on the attack on protestors in Donetsk, which occurred on March 13.
“Russia realizes its responsibility for the lives of fellow citizens and nationals in Ukraine and reserves the right to take people under our protection,” the Russian Foreign Ministry posted a statement on its website on Friday.”Tragic events occurred in Donetsk on March 13, 2014, and blood was shed,” the document said.
“Extreme rightist groups armed with weapons and bats, who started to arrive to the city from other regions of the country the day before, have attacked peaceful protestors, who came to the city streets in order to demonstrate their attitude towards the destructive stance of people calling themselves the Ukrainian authorities.
Many people were injured and one person died as a result of the clashed,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
The Russian Foreign Ministry called on the Maidan leaders who came to power in Kiev to disarm militants and ensure public safety.
Ron Paul continues to be the only public person in America speaking any sense on this matter.
In an interview with Fox News, Paul said Washington and its Western allies participated in the overthrow of the government of Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovich.
“This whole thing that Putin is the big cause of the trouble and yet there’s pretty good evidence that the Europeans as well as the American government had to contrive to have the overthrow of a government that most people say had been elected,” Paul said.
“And then for them to come along and say ‘Well, it’s an illegal government,’ and they want to have a referendum now, you know, in Crimea ‘Oh no that’s not permissible’,” he added.
“And they say everything Putin does is illegal. He’s no angel, but actually he has some law on his side. They have contracts and agreements and treaties for a naval base there and the permission to go by that area,” the former Texas Rep. explained.
Paul also noted that the Obama administration is hiding the truth about the crisis.
“It reminds me a little bit about what would happen if all of sudden they said that the Americans are occupying Guantanamo illegally and we’ve just invaded Guantanamo,” he said. “It’s such a façade and hiding the truth.”
“I think people have a right of self-determination. It’s written to the international law. It’s a moral principle and of course if you believe in limited government, everybody should have the right to minimize their government and there should be a right of secession.”
Meanwhile, over 80% of Crimeans support reunification.
Though it seems like rumor-mongering, I suppose I should report that “Anonymous Ukraine” is claiming that the US will begin staging false flags attacks in the Ukraine tomorrow, as a pretext for war. They claim to have hacked emails, but after having looked at some of the emails, I don’t think it’s real. Anyway, it could be.
By tomorrow, the 15th of March 2014, the United States, through its agents in Ukraine, will begin a series of false flag attacks on targets in Ukraine which have been designed to make it look as if they were carried out by the Special Forces of the Russian Federation.
This information has been made available and was released through several forums used by Anonymous Ukraine. Members of Anonymous Ukraine, who are involved in what Anonymous has called Operation Independence, have independently verified that Anonymous is the source for the e-mails. Among the three key e-mail is one containing the initial instructions from the US Army Assistant Army Attaché Jason P. Gresh to a senior official of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Army named Igor Protsuyuk. Again Anonymous has exposed treason by Ukrainian officials and the egregious illegal meddling of the United Sates into the affairs of a sovereign nation.
Anonymous Ukraine is operating in what can only be described as a hot war zone where almost all communications and internet access are either completely controlled and intercepted or have been shut down. Contacts in Anonymous Ukraine have also stated that there is a campaign by the US Government and the current illegitimate regime which illegally seized power to demonize and discredit Anonymous.
Anonymous Ukraine does not support what they call “the Bandera Nazis” because: they do not represent the Ukrainian people, they have deposed the democratically elected president, they have destabilized the country, they have killed hundreds of peaceful Ukrainian and they have completely taken over the media and the internet.
Anonymous Ukraine has therefore stated that those running the Facebook page under “Anonymous Ukraine” are CIA and US Government lackeys who are promoting nazis and destroying their country before selling it to NATO, the US and the EU.
As the west continues to blather on and on forever about the threat of sanctions, China has warned that this is stupid.
China’s top envoy to Germany has warned the West against punishing Russia with sanctions for its intervention in Ukraine, saying such measures could lead to a dangerous chain reaction that would be difficult to control. In an interview with Reuters days before the European Union is threatening to impose its first sanctions on Russia since the Cold War, ambassador Shi Mingde issued the strongest warning against such measures by any top Chinese official to date.
“We don’t see any point in sanctions,” Shi said. “Sanctions could lead to retaliatory action, and that would trigger a spiral with unforeseeable consequences. We don’t want this.”
…
Using her [Merkel’s] toughest rhetoric since the crisis began, she warned in a speech in parliament on Thursday that Russia risked “massive” political and economic damage if it did not change course in the coming days.
Russia’s Deputy Economy Minister Alexei Likhachev responded by promising “symmetrical” sanctions by Moscow. But Shi urged patience, saying the door for talks should remain open even after a referendum on Sunday in which Ukraine’s southern region of Crimea could vote to secede and join Russia. Merkel and other western leaders have denounced the referendum as illegal and demanded that it be canceled.
“We still see a chance to avoid an escalation. The door to talks is still open. We should use this possibility, also after the referendum,” Shi said.
The ex-security chief of the Ukraine has come out and claimed that the revolution was drafted by the US, and they had originally planned to use it during the 2015 election.
Ukraine’s former National Security Chief Alexander Yakimenko has said that the scenario we saw play out in Ukraine had been brought out of mothballs by Washington that planned to use it during the presidential election in 2015.
Mr. Yakimenko said in an interview with the Rossia 24 channel that the Ukrainian coup had unfolded according to a US scenario laid out ahead of the 2015 vote. “The West wasn’t happy with President Yanukovych. So they did everything to convince him of their loyalty. They assured [Yanukovych] that Europe would stand by his side, while at the same time preparing for a regime change in 2015”.
The ex-SBU chief said the West had been stalling for time in talks with the EU to give Yanukovych and Putin a chance to strike all necessary deals that would allow Russia to prop-up Ukraine socially, politically and economically and then bring Ukraine into the EU fold at Russia’s expense.
He noted that the President’s decision to put the EU association agreement on hold came as a shock to the US. “Europe was ready to amend some articles of the deal during negotiations and even considered Ukraine’s role as a mediator between Russia and the European Union, a move the United States strongly objected to”.
“So, of course, they were forced to enact this protest scenario [earlier than planned],” Yakimenko concluded.
More of the Maidan revolutionaries have been put on an international wanted list by Russia.
Russia is, quite cleverly, escalating the situation so as the usurpers understand that if they lose, they will swing. This is straight out of the Art of War. We have come to expect nothing less of the great Tsar’s regime.
RT:
Members of the Ukrainian far-right parties, including Maidan leaders Oleg Tyagnibok and Dmitry Yarosh, are to be added to the wanted list for participation in hostilities against Russian soldiers in Chechnya, Russia’s Investigative Committee says.
Russia intends to prosecute members of the UNA-UNSO ultranationalist party for being part of the gang that fought alongside militant leaders Shamil Basayev and Arab mercenary Emir Khattab [Thamir Saleh Abdullah Suwailem] in the North Caucasus in 1994-95, said Vladimir Markin, the spokesman for the Investigative Committee.
“There has been enough evidence collected to take the decision and bring them in as defendants in absentia within the nearest time for preventive detention and put them on the wanted list,” he said.
The UNSO participants in the battles include Ukraine’s nationalist Svoboda (Freedom) party leader Oleg Tyagnibok and leader of the Pravy Sektor (Right Sector) Dmitry Yarosh – as well as Vladimir Mamalyga, Igor Mazur, Valery Bobrovich, Dmitry Korchinsky, Andrey Tyagnibok and other members not yet identified, Markin said.
How insane is it that the US is celebrating these people, who violently overthrew the democratically-elected government of the Ukraine and threatened to kill the President?
How can the disconnect between the narrative of the Jews and that of Putin be so massive?
