An elderly couple, Henning Schourie (82) and Hilda Schourie (80), were murdered in an armed robbery at their home on Saturday 19 October 2019, in Sophiatown, Johannesburg, Gauteng province by an unknown number of attackers. They were brutally bludgeoned to death.
The Bergbron Reformed Church reported the attack on their Facebook page, at this stage there is no other information available. And there have been no arrests.
