Jordan Peterson is no longer welcome in Sweden.

The Local:

Sweden’s Foreign Minister Margot Wallström on Wednesday slammed Canadian professor Jordan B. Peterson for his controversial views on especially feminism, telling a Stockholm audience that he should “crawl back under the rock he came from”.

Peterson recently visited Sweden in connection with the release of his new book ’12 Rules For Life, an Antidote to Chaos’ in which he airs a number of controversial anti-feminist views.

The professor is also known to be skeptical of the effects of climate change. In a recent interview with Norwegian journalist and entertainer Skavlan, Peterson said that divorce was damaging for children. “We know that stable, intact, families with two parents is the best for children,” he said.

Very undiplomatic indeed. Furthermore, this was a Swedish woman and Swedes are not known for their directness or straight-talk, preferring to rely more on passive-aggressiveness and snark to achieve their aims.

She must have been very mad to break frame like this.

During a pro-women panel debate in Stockholm on Wednesday, Foreign Minister Margot Wallström – a staunch supporter and activist for women’s rights – couldn’t hold her anger towards the Canadian psychologist back, telling the audience that when it comes to his anti-feminist views, she “can’t grasp why people waste so much time on that man.”

“I think he should crawl back under the rock he came from,” she said according to several Swedish media outlets that covered the event which was also attended by feminist activists Melinda Gates and Robyn.

Sweden is so insane that even Jordan B. Peterson’s milquetoast croaking is too much for them.

Also: have you noticed how they always write Jordan B. Peterson in the press?

As a follow-up, have you ever noticed who gets the middle initial treatment?

Usually, in my mind, it’s associated with pretentious people trying to appear smarter than they really are. Probably because social strivers know about this trick and use it often enough for my hindbrain to detect a pattern.

Here’s the proof I’m not crazy.

Business Insider:

If you want people to think you’re an intellectual, use your middle initial.

“People’s middle initials have a particular and powerful effect on how people are perceived by others,” say psychologists Wijnand A.P. Van Tilburg of the University of Southampton and Eric R. Igou of the University of Limerick.

“The display of middle initials increases the perceived social status of these people,” they write in the European Journal of Social Psychology, “and (it) positively biases inferences about their intellectual capacity and performance.”

It’s a solid social trick. Just highlight the middle initial in your name to win intellekshual status points. But beware, if you’re not all that, people will think less of you for trying to fake it. People like me.

So, logically, the fact that the media is playing along with the middle initial rule in Jordan’s case betrays that they’re actually trying to promote him, no?

I’ve noticed that even not-so-flattering coverage of Jordan still uses his middle initial.

It’s similar to the famous killer thing, where they get the three name treatment. Lee Harvey Oswald, John Wilkes Booth, John Wayne Gacy and so on.

If you ever hear the media referring to someone using all three of their names, that means they’re trying to trigger a subliminal negative feeling in you. Literally trying to prep you mentally to accept that you are dealing with a bad man at best or a heinous criminal at worst.

With B. Peterson, they’re presenting him as principled and intelligent opposition… even while critiquing him.

I can’t help but feel that this is intentional.
