This is what social justice looks like and no one can tell me otherwise.
The Washington, D.C., City Council on Tuesday voted 11 to 2 to pass a measure to decriminalize Metro fare evasion.
The bill, which requires one more vote before becoming final, would change fare evasion from a criminal offense to a civil one and reduce maximum penalties from $300 to $50.
Soaring enforcement levels and disproportionate targeting of African-Americans were the main arguments for those supporting the bill.
Statistics about fare evasion arrests show citations and warnings having risen dramatically from 4,000 in 2013 to 15,000 in 2017, according to The Washington Post.
“It is endemic of a systemic issue and problem which this legislation is trying to get at, and decriminalizing is an appropriate and necessary way of trying to get at the problems we’re trying to solve,” said Councilman Charles Allen (D).
The key takeaway: Black people will now ride the metro for free!
Which is a positive development in an 80% black city, lemme tell you.
See, DC’s an odd duck.
It’s majority non-White and the Whites who actually live in the city rarely use the metro or public transportation. This is because the Whites who live within the actual city limits are principled libertarians who do not believe in public transportation (and not because they fear their fellow DC man!).
They all also happen to be Tucker Carlson’s neighbors, because DC’s a small city and there are very few areas in the de-militarized green zone to choose from. Meanwhile, every other White who uses the metro lives in the surrounding suburbs and works for a living in the government.

And with blacks riding for free, as is their earned right for centuries of toiling without recognition of their services, I think its time to start raising the prices for metro tickets.
The 20% must now pay for the 80%.
Because with so many blacks now effectively told that they can ride for free, there’s some budget shortfalls that have to be made up.
Let the Depressed Suburban Government workers make up for it, I say.
After all, this is just another one of those small, teensy-tiny little prices that we are lucky to pay, to keep the noble black happy and a productive member of our society.
Look at him. He looks so content. I would do anything to make sure he stays as content as that forever. It brings a smile to my face, warmth to my soul and lures me into a false sense of my own security.
Which really, is all that I can ask for at this point, living in America.
