Joe Biden said that he would open the border to millions of immigrants. He further said that they would get free healthcare, and could live on welfare. He added that he would give them citizenship.
Then he opened the border.
What happened next is a mystery: millions of poor people showed up at the border.
President Kamala Harris has been put in charge of solving the mystery as to why all of these people are coming from poor countries to live on welfare in America.
Vice President Kamala Harris will not be in charge of handling the entire migrant crisis at the southern border, her staff said Friday.
“I will just reiterate that the vice president is not doing the border,” White House chief spokesperson Symone Sanders told reporters.
Sanders spoke briefly with reporters on a flight with the vice president to Connecticut.
She said Biden had tasked the vice president with the “diplomatic efforts” to address the root causes of migration from Latin America.
“The president asked the vice president to take on the diplomatic effort, with Mexico and countries in the northern triangle to address the root causes of migration,” she said. “There are many reasons that move these folks to make this dangerous journey.”
Sanders said Harris had made a “number of calls” on the issue but did not plan any trips to the border “in the near future.”
“This is not work that will be addressed overnight,” Sanders said. “This is a challenging situation, as you heard the vice president and president speak to but it’s diplomatic work that needs to be done and Vice President Harris. Looking forward to doing it.”
She said Harris had also received a briefing on the Northern Triangle since Biden tasked her with the diplomatic efforts.
“You can expect she will be speaking with leaders from the region in the near future,” she said.
Okay, well. Okay.
This is really too dumb to even pretend to take seriously. There are nearly 8 billion people on earth, and a significant portion of them live in poverty.
On the whole, people would generally rather live in poverty in their home than go live on welfare in a foreign country. That, on the whole, even applies to 70 IQ Guatemalan shanty people.
That said, if even 1% of the poor of Central and South America decide to show up, that’s tens of millions of people.
Then on top of that, you’re increasingly getting these routes from Africa and Asia.
The other big part of this is that the US government policy has encouraged these people to form ghettoes, which means that once they get to America, they feel as though they’re in their own country. They are surrounded by people who speak their language, and uphold the customs of their culture. So it is not really “going to live in an alien land.”
The concept of using “diplomacy” to solve the “crisis” that people in the third world are poor is insultingly stupid, and actually nonsensical. Part of the “Paris Climate Accords” is to transfer large amounts of wealth from white countries to the third world, but the reality is that these people are poor for a reason – primarily, as a result of the average IQ of their countries. So simply giving them money doesn’t actually accomplish any goal.
But hey – it’s safe to say that an Indian woman raised in Canada never tried to solve this problem before. So maybe Kamala will manage to fix poverty in Central America, so as the United States can have a totally open Southern border, and have that not result in a crisis.
However, I doubt she’ll solve it within the year. And right now, we’re looking at a situation where upwards of 10 million people are going to have crossed the border between the time of Joe Biden’s inauguration and the end of this year.
That’s really a lot of people, and it’s really going to change the country significantly. Those changes are amplified by the fact that the Harris Administration has pledged to give these people first access to American social services and welfare systems, which means not only that normal white people are going to have to pay a lot more taxes, but also that poor whites, and presumably even some blacks, are going to have their programs cut.
This is all of course happening in the midst of the greatest economic crisis in the history of the human species looming over us.
