Matteo Salvini: Stop Invasion – Our people first!

Kekistan flags have been seen flying at election rallies for Matteo Salvini, leader of the Lega Nord, originally a northern separatist party that has evolved into a more general Italian anti-immigration party.

Salvini has a good chance of being part of the next coalition government and could conceivably even be its leader. He supposedly has an understanding with Silvio Berlusconi’s party and the Fratelli d’Italia that they will form a coalition with whichever one of them gets the highest share of the vote becoming leader.

But it’s also possible tbe Lega could join with the 5-Stars movement to form a coalition. 5-Stars is anti-Establishment but not easy to classify otherwise. Some of its positions are leftish, but it also makes noises against the EU, and occasionally against immigration. It is literally led by a clown (the comedian Beppe Grillo). He is unpredictable; for example, he might denounce out-of-control immigration one day then racism the next.

Jews are not happy either with Salvini or Grillo. They tried playing their usual game of orchestrated outrage on Grillo once he first came to political prominence, but it didn’t work. He has been strongly critical of Israel, has talked of Jewish conspiracies and said Jews control the media and were our to get Mel Gibson.

A Salvini-Grillo government would definitely be interesting. But a Berlusconi-Salvini-Meloni would also be a vast improvement on the status quo.
