So I guess this is an every day thing now.

CNN:

At least one person was killed in a shooting Tuesday at a Kentucky high school, Gov. Matt Bevin said.

“Tragic shooting at Marshall County HS … Shooter is in custody, one confirmed fatality, multiple others wounded,” Bevin tweeted.

Seven people were taken to hospitals, some by helicopter, said Darlene Lynn of Marshall County Emergency Management.

The shooter is in custody, she said.

Kentucky is my neighboring state. These are my people.

It is not the sort of place that things like this are supposed to happen.

These things aren’t supposed to happen anywhere in our country.

This is Afghanistan-tier shit.

When I was a kid, Columbine was a big, big deal. The media talked about it for months and months.

Now, a school shooting doesn’t even make it through an entire news cycle.

We have to ask: what has happened to us?

How is it possible that this has become the norm?

Most importantly: why is no one asking those two questions I just asked?

Literally, no one is asking what is going on. This is just the new reality, presented without comment (unless they are somehow able to blame the Alt-Right).
