The Right Stuff
April 18, 2016
With Plato’s Republic almost at a close we pick up where we left off at the end of Book V with a discussion of the four types of constitutions of the State and the character of the man which this State produces. Jew, watch out. You’ve got no place in a true Greek aristocracy and Socrates describes the men and states in a manner which may seem almost prophetic to our ears.
Sit back, unwind from a week’s worth of hard work, and join us as we descend from the golden ideal of aristocracy into the tyranny of total liberty.
