Putin isn’t just the world’s greatest political leader.
He is also a pretty high-ranking troll.

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday offered to give political asylum to former FBI Director James Comey, poking at tensions between Comey and President Trump.
“If Comey will be under the threat of political persecution, we are ready to accept him here,” Putin said at a press conference, according to Russian state media outlet TASS.
Comey testified last week that Trump pressured him to “let go” of the FBI investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn before Trump fired him. Comey acknowledged leaking his personal memos about his conversations with Trump to the media, which the White House has seized on to attack the former FBI head’s credibility.
Putin compared Comey’s decision to leak details of conversations with Trump to the actions of Edward Snowden, the National Security Agency leaker who was granted asylum by Russia.
“This is strange. How then is the director of the FBI any different from Snowden? He is not a head of the special services, but a human rights activist,” Putin said.
If it was any other week – like a week maybe six or seven months ago – this would be the funniest thing of the week.
Alas, the funniest thing of the week is hard to do these days.
Putin having Trump’s back like this is a good sign. I mean, we don’t know what is going on with Trump, so we have to watch the reactions to him by people who have more information than we do. So we watch the Jews attack him, we watch Putin support him, we get a good picture of what is going on with him.
No, Putin is Not Being Anti-Trump with This
For those who don’t quite get this, intuitively: Putin is actually brutally mocking Comey with this statement.
I think he really would give him political asylum, if he asked for it, but this would simply cause total chaos in the narrative of the Russian conspiracy. I mean, the frontman for the entire Kookspiracy hoax defecting to Russia – wow.
That would definitely cause McCain to have his last and final heart attack, that’s for sure.
