The savages are so desperate to break into Britain that they are willing to risk their own lives to do so, often dying from asphyxiation after sneaking into refrigerated trailers or by falling off a chassis and getting pulverised by the truck wheels.
How long will it be before they start taking other people’s lives, so that they can invade the country in comfort?
This thought has obviously occurred to some of the lorry drivers, as they are now calling for the British Army to step in and protect them.
Lorry drivers are urging the Government to act before one is killed by illegal immigrants desperate to get into Britain from France.
They say French police have given up trying to deal with gangs of up to 100 migrants who surround lorries and demand passage across the Channel under threat of violence.
The situation is so bad they want the British Army to be called in to help protect the drivers.
Many have been verbally abused or physically attacked and one needed hospital treatment after being kicked and punched by an angry mob.
Haulage boss Kevin Hopper said: “I am convinced a lorry driver will be killed soon, probably stabbed.”
Driver Tommy Harrison at the firm based near Wakefield, West Yorkshire, was ambushed by a gang in Calais.
He said: “One of them pulled a knife on me while others climbed up on top of the cab and cut a hole in the curtain to get inside. It was very frightening.
“There was very little I could do. About 10 of them got in. It’s hopeless going to the gendarmes because they don’t want to know, so I drove to a lorry park where I knew there would be other drivers and we got them out.”
