This is an official item in the Chinese news.
Filial piety is a traditional virtue very much valued by Chinese society. President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, has on many occasions stressed the importance of family virtues and traditions.
The following are some highlights of his quotes:
— A family is the smallest unit of a nation while a nation is thousands of families put together.
— We should promote filial piety and family harmony, encourage people to take on family responsibilities, cultivate fine family traditions, and take care of the elderly.
— Mothers should pass on to their children the passion for study, the spirit of hard work, and the love of the motherland to help the young generation nurture good character and grow healthily to become adults who contribute to the country and the people.
— We need to help women strike a balance between family and work to become women of the new era who can take up social responsibilities while contributing to their families.
We talk about how much more motivated Chinese business and military ethics are, but imagine a country where the political leaders are issuing statements about the importance of traditional families – and the media is reporting it alongside news items.
Do you see how this is literally the opposite of America’s social norms?
Every single thing the US government does is anti-family. It is always some feminist twist, or some weird gay thing. And the media actively shills against marriage, against family bonds, and certainly against filial piety.
The explanation is simple enough: the Chinese news is run by Chinese people, whilst the American news is run by the Jews.
But this is the reason we are even talking about China: because they are a strong nation that cares about family values. If that wasn’t the case, they would just be a bunch of peasants in fields. Their strength that their country is built on is the same traditional values that our nations were built on.
But we’ve abandoned our values.
