It’s really tiresome to point out the hypocrisy and it really feels futile. Conservatives have been pointing out the hypocrisy for decades, and all it did was end up putting them in a place where they were open to really stupid ideas about “Democrats are the real racists” and “Democrats are the real homophobes.”
In general, I try to avoid pointing out the hypocrisy, and instead just attack these people as disgusting and satanic.
But you read this and you can’t help yourself: imagine if a pro-lifer shot an 84-year-old pro-abortion woman. It would be on the level of Dylann Roof – you wouldn’t hear the end of it for at least two or three years.
But an abortion person shoots an anti-abortion woman and you don’t even hear about it.

A Michigan man shot and wounded an 84-year-old pro-life canvasser at his home last week, officials said.
The homeowner, 74-year-old Richard Harvey, surrendered to police on Friday and was charged with felonious assault and reckless discharge of a firearm causing injury in the Sept. 20 shooting, according to Ionia County Prosecutor Kyle Butler.
Yes, they waited ten days to arrest him.

The canvasser, Joan Jacobson, told police she had knocked on the door to Harvey’s Odessa Township home and asked the woman who answered the door to vote against Proposal 3 in November — which would amend the state’s constitution to guarantee the right to abortion in the state, if passed.
Jacobson, a long-time volunteer for Right to Life of Michigan, told The Detroit News on Thursday that she was told to leave the premises when she “heard a shot” and “felt some pain.”
She then drove herself to a local police station and was later treated for a gunshot wound to the right shoulder at a hospital, according to the prosecutor’s office.

Harvey told local news outlet WOOD-TV that he had accidentally shot Jacobson while she was arguing with his wife after he had told her several times to get off their property.
He said he heard arguing coming from his barn and fired a warning shot at a tree with his wife’s .22 caliber rifle. But he said the woman kept “ranting and raving” and wildly waving her clipboard around.
Harvey said he feared that Jacobson was going to hit his wife with the clipboard.
“So without thinking, I went to club it away with the rifle and my finger was still in the trigger guard. It went off and hit her.”
Yeah. This guy was out doing interviews with the media days after shooting this old woman in the back.
The police were apparently just not interested in arresting him until enough people complained.
They are really playing up this abortion stuff for the midterms, and it will probably work.

I’m pretty much full tinfoil on the Supreme Court, and I think they did the abortion ruling for the purpose of helping the Democrats in the midterms.
But of course, you have to support the anti-abortion laws, even if it is a conspiracy. Being a Christian and not celebrating new laws against abortion just because they are an electioneering conspiracy would be like being the State Department and not celebrating the Nord Stream pipelines being blown up just because Putin did it himself to make you look bad.
