We’re barrelling towards a situation where we just won’t have any laws protecting White people anymore.
CNN:
In Grand Rapids, Michigan, it may soon no longer be just unfair to call the police on people of color who have done nothing wrong. It may be downright illegal.
The City Commission held a public hearing Tuesday on a proposed human rights ordinance that would make it a criminal misdemeanor to “racially profile people of color for participating in their lives,” the city said in a statement.
“Participating in their lives.”
This is a mildly enraging phrase.
It’s incredibly pretentious. At first, it’s hard to put your finger on it, but I think I know what’s up. It’s the artsy vibe that this phrase emits that is completely at odds with the way that black people actually talk.
It feels artificial and tacked on by someone else trying to come up with a better way of saying, “I was dinduing nuffin.”
The charge could result in up to a $500 fine, according to CNN affiliate WOOD.
“I am appalled that I live in a city I grew up in that has to have an ordinance to tell people not to call the police on people because of the color of their skin,” said one citizen at the hearing.
Another said that while the intention is good, the ordinance is redundant given existing laws against discrimination.
Grand Rapids experienced racially biased 911 calls first hand, according to the station, when a neighbor falsely reporting a shooting in the neighborhood and a 12-year-old girl was handcuffed as a result.
But stories of police being called when people of color engage in fairly mundane activities have arisen all over the country.
Let me finish that thought for you, CNN.
“And that’s why we need to pass similar laws all over the country.”
It’s macabre, isn’t it?
They do their best to disarm the populace and then take away the last flimsy protection that White people had: the police. The only way that this ends up backfiring is if White people start realizing that the police are not their friends and that the threat is not going away and that they need to do… some things like electing Hitler.
Although, knowing most Whites, they’ll just internalize it and start hating on themselves even more because now even more authority figures (in the government no less) are telling them that they’re bad.
The situation is definitely accelerating though.
Releasing all those felons onto the streets, taking away all protections for Whites and a biblical flood of non-Whites across the border PLUS a censorship campaign to keep anyone from speaking up about it.
What a dangerous cocktail they’re brewing.
