This is where they’re slowly shifting the conversation to. It’s no longer about some convoluted “my body, my choice” notion of bodily autonomy for women, no, they’re now talking about killing the baby after the baby can survive outside of the mother and even during and after birth.
Why? Because it was always about killing babies first and foremost. They continue to prove that.

A push by Virginia Democrats to loosen restrictions on late-term abortions is erupting into a fierce partisan clash because of a viral video in which a lawmaker acknowledges her legislation would allow abortions up until moments before birth.
Gov. Ralph Northam added gas to the fire Wednesday by describing a hypothetical situation in a radio interview where an infant who is severely deformed or unable to survive after birth could be left to die. That prompted accusations from prominent Republicans that he supports infanticide.

I mean the baby is still inside the woman’s body just moments after birth isn’t it? She still has absolute authority over that baby’s life because the baby is raping her by being inside her illegally and rapes her while getting out while being born, which is terrible and also illegal. Don’t forget rape is the worst crime ever and all babies are rapists. Really, that’s the first thing they do when coming to this world, they rape their mother’s vagina, which often needs stitches to fix. It’s sickening.
Democrats said their views were being deliberately mischaracterized by the GOP for political gain.
“Republicans in Virginia and across the country are trying to play politics with women’s health, and that is exactly why these decisions belong between a woman and her physician, not legislators, most of whom are men,” Northam spokeswoman Ofirah Yheskel said in a statement.
They are liars and murderers.
If it was really about women’s health, why kill the baby? Why is the talk about “abortion” instead of early C-sections when the baby is old enough to survive outside the mother? Why “abortion up until birth” instead of getting that baby out alive and keeping it alive?
Someone has to ask them these questions in public, and ask them again, and again, until their mask dissolves and everyone sees them for what they are. Until everyone sees what they really do and what they really want to do.
Republicans countered that Democrats were upset because their “extreme” views on abortion were being made clear to the public.
“What my Democratic colleagues are most concerned about is what this moment actually revealed. It was a moment of unbridled honesty about their agenda,” said Republican Del. Todd Gilbert, referring to a video exchange between him and Democratic Del. Kathy Tran.
In the video recorded by the Republican Standard, Gilbert asks Tran whether her legislation would let a pregnant woman who is dilating request an abortion if a doctor certified that the woman’s mental health was impaired.
“My bill would allow that, yes,” Tran said.

Her legislation would reduce the number of doctors who would have to certify late-term abortions are needed from three to one. It would also delete the requirement that doctors determine that continuing a pregnancy would “substantially and irremediably” impair a woman’s health. Instead doctors would only have to certify that the woman’s health was impaired.
Just “impaired,” no mention of how impaired. If a woman feels impaired, that’ll be enough, because if you don’t put clear objective boundaries, what you have left is women’s feelings, and we know those are very reliable.
“We must trust women and their health care providers,” Tran said at a Monday subcommittee hearing, where her exchange with Gilbert was recorded.

Northam was asked about the video exchange during a regular radio appearance on WTOP-FM Wednesday.
The governor, who is a pediatric neurologist, defended the legislation and noted that late-term abortions are usually done because the infant is severely deformed or unable to survive after birth.
That right there is an excuse similar to the “but what about rapes tho?” thing they use to defend abortion. They grab the edgiest of edge cases and use it to justify the broad implementation of abortion.
Just as most abortions have nothing to do with rape, if they’re allowed late-term or post-term abortions, most of those will have nothing to do with deformed or unhealthy babies. Just as most abortions nowadays have nothing to do with the health of the baby.
Women continue to murder babies while trying to convince you that they’re the good guys for doing it. “Hey, I’m protecting this baby of the hardships of life by ripping it apart!” and they expect to be thanked for that.
Northam said that if a woman were to desire an abortion as she’s going into labor, the baby would be “resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue” between doctors and the mother, leaving open what would happen next.
