More Boring Brexit Stuff: Theresa May’s Parliament Thing Fails

I’ve lost all interest in the Brexit issue completely.

Theresa May, from what I’ve understood, goes to Brussels periodically to get a talking to from no-name politicians with better teeth than her.

Only slightly better, to be fair.

She returns to London and then spends a few weeks yelling at people on the other side of a room – you know, the one with the green divans – and then they yell back at her in a language that once resembled English.

Meanwhile, her own party grumbles about her and the press runs non-stop headlines like: “Is May Out? Brexit No-Deal Looms Ahead of Vote!” and you’re sure that this is deja vu. There’s definitely already been a Brexit vote and a Theresa May vote and a trip to Brussels and a shouting match.

So what is going on now?

BBC:

Prime Minister Theresa May’s Brexit deal has been rejected by 230 votes – the largest defeat for a sitting government in history.

MPs voted by 432 votes to 202 to reject the deal, which sets out the terms of Britain’s exit from the EU on 29 March.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has now tabled a vote of no confidence in the government, which could trigger a general election.

The confidence vote is expected to be held at about 1900 GMT on Wednesday.

The defeat is a huge blow for Mrs May, who has spent more than two years hammering out a deal with the EU.

The plan was aimed at bringing about an orderly departure from the EU on 29 March, and setting up a 21-month transition period to negotiate a free trade deal.

So, I guess this means no Brexit? Or new Brexit negotiations with Brussels?

The last no-confidence vote didn’t mean that, but maybe this one does? Is there a limit?

Perhaps it means that Farage needs to raise a fleet and sail on London bridge again to definitely prove his point this time?

Either way, Theresa May has to go.

She makes for boring news and we can’t have that.

I want to know what the real power behind the throne has been plotting this whole time.

Not only am I in awe of this lad, but I also want to know what his end game is.

What’s he planning?

Rhetorical.

I think we can all see right through his hungry gaze.

It’s only a matter of time until he eats the Queen and then Theresa May.

Clearly, this absolute unit has already eaten the last guy who tried to stand in the way of his plans. He’s inside him now, screaming and slowly being digested.
