This happened last week. I don’t think we reported on it. (Sometimes things slip through the cracks. We have a very small operation here and limited resources.)
It’s a very fantastic story.
Supporters of a ceasefire in Gaza condemned comments made by the former House speaker Nancy Pelosi as “downright authoritarian” after the California Democrat suggested, without offering evidence, that pro-Palestinian activists may have ties to Russia and its president, Vladimir Putin.
This “without offering evidence” phrase is heavily used by the New York Times, and copied by other outlets. It is almost exclusively reserved for Donald Trump, however.
In this case, the Times also used it in reference to Pelosi.
In an interview on Sunday, Pelosi called on the FBI to investigate protesters involved in the progressive movement pressuring the Biden administration to support a ceasefire in Gaza.
“For them to call for a ceasefire is Mr Putin’s message,” Pelosi said during an interview on CNN’s State of the Union on Sunday. “Make no mistake, this is directly connected to what he would like to see. Same thing with Ukraine. It’s about Putin’s message. I think some of these protesters are spontaneous and organic and sincere. Some, I think, are connected to Russia.”
Pressed for clarity on whether she believed the activists were “Russian plants”, Pelosi replied: “Seeds or plants. I think some financing should be investigated. And I want to ask the FBI to investigate that.”
The FBI!
The interview sparked a furious backlash among activists and anti-war protesters, who pointed to polling that shows strong shares of Democrats support calls for a ceasefire in Gaza and agree with the claim that Israel is committing a “genocide” against the Palestinian people.
The Democrats promoted all of this liberation for brown people stuff to use as a weapon against white Americans, then they’re shocked that their followers believe it when it actually comes to American-backed Jews slaughtering brown people.
Their solution is to accuse their own voters of working for Russia.
After making these statements on television, Pelosi went on to accuse the protesters outside of her house of working for the Chinese.
She literally shouted “GO BACK TO CHINA.”
The protesters are visibly older white women. They are definitely not from China.
It’s an incredible thing, to have one of the most senior politicians in America accusing anyone who is against America’s latest war of being a Russian or Chinese agent.
Millennials remember the Iraq war and the protests against it. Imagine if, back then, Pelosi had made these accusations. It would have seemed completely insane. It is still insane now, it’s just that everything is insane. We are in a country with child trannies. America is like a sickening dark satire of a mystifying hellscape.
After I’m finished writing this, I’m going to go write a sister story (also missed from last week) about Tom Cotton accusing the boss of TikTok of being a Chinese communist government agent for allowing people to question Israel on the platform. These people are completely unified in their obsessive-compulsive shilling for Israel.
It’s very ironic that these people are working for a foreign country and accusing actual Americans concerned about the behavior of our government of working for a foreign country.
