This is like slavery all over again, except worse.
I’m so glad that Google News put this in fourth spot in the US category, or I might have been thinking about birthright citizenship – and not this very important event.
I think the whole nation needs to take a break from anything else is going on, and take some time to consider this woman who called a nigger a nigger, and threw paper at his house.
Because, that’s what’s important.
A woman in Indiana was arrested after leaving a racist note on the door of her new neighbor’s home targeting their black son — with an ominous warning about the “all white neighborhood” they were moving into, police said.
Deborah Cantwell, 63, of Greentown, was arrested Thursday after a man told deputies in Howard County that he found the hateful note filled with racial slurs attached to the door of his new home.
The family had not yet moved into the residence — which was also covered in toilet paper — but had been at the home just five hours prior to the incident on Oct. 13, the Kokomo Tribune reports.
I can’t even.
Black people being forced to do menial labor by an old white lady.
It really is slavery all over again.
“NO N—–S wanted in this neighborhood,” the letter read in part. “THIS IS A WHITE NEIGHBORHOOD – some people find N—–S stressful due to 33 years of NEGATIVE experience [sic] and it causes serious health issues.”
Negative experiences?
With black people?
According to a GoFundMe campaign for the family, the boy is biracial, but his age is unclear.
They’re gonna need a lot of money to heal those hurt feelings.
Cantwell, who is now facing misdemeanor charges of intimidation and criminal mischief, admitted to deputies on Oct. 18 that she wrote the letter and covered the family’s yard with toilet paper out of anger.
…
She wrote a letter without any threats in it, simply calling them niggers and telling them that she didn’t welcome them in their neighborhood.
I’m surprised they charged her with intimidation, instead of shooting her on the spot.
The boy’s father told police he suspected Cantwell was behind the note because the seller of the home told him that she had opposed the family moving into the neighborhood.
The online fundraiser set up by the family to pay for legal fees, a fence and security system has surpassed $2,100, according to the website.
It’s been going up pretty quickly, ever since Google started shoving it in everyone’s faces.
“I will forgive you one day, but for now you have instilled in all my heart, a fear I have never had before,” the boy’s mother wrote. “You have instilled fear in my family, you have instilled fear [in] my children. This fear I have is crippling.”
Poor black woman – terrorized by toilet paper, and by the word nigger written on paper by an old woman.
It will take at least seven thousand dollars, her entry in the national news, and the arrest and smiting of a rando in order to heal her feelings – if, indeed, they will ever heal.
What could possibly motivate such a vile use of toilet paper?
