Der Spiegel, a leading German magazine, has caused a stir in Nova Scotia after reporting that prominent Nazi sympathizers and right-wing extremists are in the middle of setting up a new radical colony on Cape Breton Island.
The magazine, citing documents it has obtained, reported that hundreds of Germans have already signed up for the initiative. The report says far-right populist Germans Eva Herman and Andreas Popp, as well as Frank Eckhardt, a local real estate professional, are leading the charge. Herman and Popp, however, have denied being connected to Eckhardt, who Der Spiegel says is a Holocaust denier.
As reported by the Halifax Examiner, citing Der Spiegel’s lengthy investigation, Herman was fired as a news anchor for Germany’s national broadcaster ARD in 2007 after endorsing the family politics of the Nazis, whereas Popp, known as a “doomsday prophet,” has pushed widely debunked conspiracy theories. The pair currently live in Cape Breton where, via a wider organization of right-wing academics, Der Spiegel reports they invite groups of “clear thinkers” four times a year for one-week seminars.
The “extreme ideology” gatherings push the idea that Europe is on the verge of a system collapse, Der Spiegel reports. Cape Breton — and Canada — is seen as a more stable alternative. Herman and Popp allegedly implore those of a like mind to buy land there.
According to Der Spiegel, the pair form part of a network founded by Eckhardt, who also lives in Cape Breton. Eckhardt, Der Spiegel reports, is a so-called Reichsbuerger — a person who feels the modern German state that arose after the Nazi defeat doesn’t have legitimacy.
Eckhardt’s real estate website calls Canada a place where you escape the “increasingly authoritarian and runaway administrative machinery” of the European Union. Der Spiegel reports that at the end of 2019, Interpol staff based in Ottawa informed German intelligence of Eckhardt’s activities in this country, but Herman and Popp have denied current links to Eckhardt.
The Cape Breton Post, reporting on Friday evening, said Popp and Eckhardt had once been real estate partners, but later went their separate ways and competed for business. Speaking to the Cape Breton Post, Der Spiegel reporter Martin Doerry, who authored the report, said his reporting led him to believe that most who buy into the area after the seminars share similar ideologies. His reporting saw him interview nearly 30 people, and focused on three allegedly interconnected companies, the Post reported.
“This seminar is a kind of a brainwash,” Doerry said. “And if you buy a piece of land in Cape Breton or Nova Scotia after a week in the seminar with Andreas Popp, you must be a follower. I can’t believe you buy something under these circumstances without believing the ideas of Mr. Popp.”
If this is real, then why would it be bad?
I thought racists were pure evil – so why would you want to force them to live with you?
Why would you not let these purely evil people go to some remote Canadian Island and live together in their hatred, alone?
Here, we only ask that as a rhetorical question. The obvious answer is that diversity only works when you force it on people. If you give people a choice, even the very most liberal of people will choose to avoid diversity.
The one really effective bit that Jared Taylor used to do was look up the neighborhoods of the people who attacked him for being a “racist.” They all, without exception, live in neighborhoods that are at least 95% white. Tim Wise, who is a real extremist anti-white Jew (he’s literally called for me to be hunted down and killed because of jokes I made on the internet), lives in a neighborhood that is 97% white (“white” in this context also includes Jewish, of course).
So, you cannot allow white people to openly have the option of living with other white people. You can allow them to have that option low-key, by ensuring that people with enough money can go live in rich, all-white gated communities. But you can’t openly say “well, we should just allow people to choose whether or not they want to live with diversity or not.”
One of the major things that Joe Biden is going to do to transform America is bring back the Barack Obama forced-diversity HUD programs that Donald Trump canceled. I spent huge amounts of time writing about these when Obama was putting them together, and it meant a lot to me when Donald Trump shut them down. These were programs to basically build Section 8 government housing complexes in every single neighborhood in America, so that no one could escape diversity.
Of course, some people still would be able to escape diversity – the real elite would be able to. But the middle class would have that option totally removed. They would all have to have shootings in their neighborhoods, crack dealers outside the local gas station, their daughters getting picked up and passed around.
So that’s why you can’t let the Nazis escape.
If people find out that all “Nazis” actually want to do is be left alone, that creates a serious problem for the narrative of the media and the government about how they are pure evil and want to stop blacks from being able to breed.
