Let’s just forget about this, shall we?
The real problem in America is that innocent Black children are getting murdered by White cops simply for trying to steal their guns and kill them.
It has to stop.
Rhode Island State Police arrested a man Wednesday who was wanted in the shooting death of North Carolina police officer Tim Brackeen.
According to WSOC-TV, SWAT team members took 23-year-old Irving Lucien Fenner into custody at around 2:35 a.m. at an apartment in Coventry, Rhode Island. Police said Fenner was taken to a hospital to treat a gunshot wound he suffered in the deadly incident with Brackeen.
Brackeen, a Shelby officer, was shot in the chest 12:20 a.m. on Saturday as he was searching for Fenner, who had failed to show up to an August court date for misdemeanor charges of carrying a concealed weapon and marijuana possession, according to the Charlotte Observer. Authorities have since charged Fenner with attempted murder in Brackeen’s shooting.
Brackeen died Monday.
The Shelby Star reported Tuesday that two arrests were made in connection with the officer’s shooting death. Shelby police Capt. Steve Seate said that Deitria Morris was arrested as an accessory after the fact.
Seate also said Ashley Michelle Hamrick faces charges of felony harboring an escapee and is believed she was harboring Fenner in relation to the arrest warrants Brackeen was trying to serve Fenner before he was shot and killed.
