A man sought in connection with a fatal double shooting in Dundalk last month was arrested in Louisiana, Baltimore County police said.
The U.S. Marshals Service found and arrested Tavon Powell, 37, Tuesday morning in Kenner, Louisiana, county police said.
Gabrielle Marie Paugh, 26, of Dundalk, and Aaron Michael Wearins, 34, of Baltimore, died in the Aug. 27 shooting.
Two people have died from a Monday night double shooting in Dundalk, Baltimore County police said.
Police have identified Tavon Powell, 37, as the suspect. Officials said he is wanted for murder and attempted murder. Police said he was known to the victims.
Neighbors believe the shooting was about an ex-boyfriend’s jealous rage.
County police said officers were called at 7:30 p.m. to the unit block of Wise Avenue, where the victims were shot.
“When our officers responded they found two victims inside the home suffering from gunshot wounds,” said Cpl. Shawn Vinson, of the Baltimore County Police Department
Gabrielle Marie Paugh, 26, of Dundalk, was pronounced dead at a hospital. Aaron Michael Wearins, 34, of Baltimore, was taken to the hopsital in critical condition, but succumbed to his injuries Wednesday.

Neighbors said Paugh lived in the home, and that she and Powell used to be in a relationship. Online court documents show Powell living at the same address.
Neighbors said Powell still had a key to the home, and that he used that key Monday night to enter the home, where he found Paugh with her new boyfriend.
