New Orleans Getting Sued for Removing Monuments

The idea that the purpose of the Civil War was to free the slaves is was just Lincoln war propaganda used to justify a war of aggression triggered by the Constitutionally legal secession plan of the Southern states.

No historian actually believes that Lincoln’s war was fought on the moral principle that Negroes should be free. He even campaigned on not ending slavery in the states, saying it would be unconstitutional.

What’s more, the South was already in the processes of freeing the slaves when Lincoln declared war and invaded.

The Founding Fathers were slave owners.

Obviously, these people are just as evil as the Southerners, no?

When the leftists say “America was founded by racists,” they are correct.

All of that is to say: the South does not represent “racism” anymore than the North does.

If we ban Southern monuments, it is only a matter of time before we have to ban all of American history.

CNN:

A divisive statue of Confederate military leader Pierre Gustave Toutant Beauregard won’t go down without a legal fight.

Longtime resident Richard Marksbury is suing New Orleans and seeking a temporary restraining order to prevent the city from “touching, removing or doing anything with the Beauregard monument,” Marksbury told reporters Monday.

Marksbury is a founding member of the Monumental Task Committee — a group decrying the city’s planned removal of Confederate statues.

Those statues have been the subject of heated protests, which flared up again Sunday.

The city has already removed the first of the four monuments: one commemorating the Battle of Liberty Place. It was erected in 1891 to mark a deadly fight between members of the “Crescent City White League,” a group opposed to the city’s biracial police force and state militia after the Civil War, and officers from that police force.

Last month, amid security threats, contractors wearing masks and tactical vests worked in the dark of the night to remove that monument.

Mayor Mitch Landrieu said the city will remove the other three monuments, honoring Beauregard, Robert E. Lee and Jefferson Davis. But the mayor’s office said it will not announce when those statues will come down, citing safety concerns.

Of course, this will not be successful.

The monuments are all coming down.

That has already been decided.

Here’s the Thing

The problem is not our past – the problem is our present.

As I wrote earlier today, slavery was not “evil” or “wrong” – it was just a thing that happened, that was ultimately very good for the blacks involved.

This sums it up:

Deray banned him. No explanation was given. Nor has Deray explained why he won’t accept offers of a free plane ticket to Liberia (or any other African country of his choosing).

If we ban Southern heritage we are banning American heritage and we are effectively deciding that our country no longer exists.

I can guarantee you that after these Confederates all come down, within the next 3-4 years, we are going to begin hearing about how the Jefferson Memorial has to be bulldozed.

Of course, the Washington Monument can just be painted black and renamed “muh dik, muffugguh.”

But mark my words: there is no way that it follows logically that we are no longer allowed to honor Confederates, but are allowed to honor the Founding Fathers.

And the Jews behind this push know that.
