Metro police are investigating a fight that happened at a Louisville skate park Monday night.
Cellphone video captured the incident.
WLKY spoke with the woman who said she and her 15-year-old son were attacked as they tried to leave the Louisville Extreme Park. She said the fight started after she spotted a teenager standing on top of her mother’s car, which she had driven to the park.
The woman said that she shouted at the teen to get down and that seconds later, her son was knocked to the ground.
The victims asked WLKY not to identify them.
“He started in on my son,” the woman said. “I went for him and then the next thing I know, I’m getting blows to the head.”
Neither victim was seriously hurt.
Officers cited two girls ages 16 and 14, and one boy age 17 in connection to the assault. They all face assault in the fourth degree and one count of criminal mischief in the second degree.
