The media has been going nuts claiming that the coronavirus is surging.

Texas and Florida reversed course and clamped down on bars again Friday in the nation’s biggest retreat yet as the daily number of confirmed coronavirus infections in the U.S. surged to an all-time high of 40,000.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott ordered all bars closed, while Florida banned alcohol at such establishments. The two states joined the small but growing list of those that are either backtracking or putting any further reopenings of their economies on hold because of a comeback by the virus, mostly in the South and West.
Health experts have said a disturbingly large number of cases are being seen among young people who are going out again, often without wearing masks or observing other social-distancing rules.
But this is a total hoax.
If you go down to paragraph #16 of this AP article, you find the truth:
While the rise partly reflects expanded testing, experts say there is ample evidence the scourge is making a comeback, including rising deaths and hospitalizations in parts of the country and higher percentages of tests coming back positive for the virus.
And even that is a skewed truth – they say “yes, of course, in fact, these increased positive tests are a result of increased testing generally,” but then add, “but who knows, maybe it’s also going up for other reasons???”
The actual math is exactly what you would expect if the infection rate had stayed the same and testing increased in the way it has.
Furthermore, it would be a good thing if the infection rate was increasing, because the death rate certainly isn’t, which would mean that the morbidity rate of the disease is dropping as we reach herd immunity.
But you see, this is all political. It’s a hoax to hurt Donald Trump in the election. They may well demand voting through mail by November, in which case Trump loses badly due to mass fraud.
Joe Biden is saying now that if he wins he’ll use federal power to force everyone in the country to wear a mask all the time.

“I know, as Americans, it’s not something we’re used to. But it matters,” Biden said of wearing a mask, noting he wears one “everywhere I go.”
The former vice president went further during an interview with KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh, suggesting he would use executive action or other means to leverage federal power and mandate wearing masks in public.
“I would do everything possible to make it required that people had to wear masks in public,” he said.
That will be great fun, getting attacked by lunatic cops for not wearing your cuck muzzle.
The Republicans are also continuing to endorse this stupid hoax, and pushing for the muzzles.
