A 19-year-old North Chicago man was held on $750,000 bail Thursday in connection with a January home invasion in Gurnee .
Xzemenize Boose, 19, of North Chicago was charged in a warrant with home invasion, armed robbery and residential burglary, according to a statement from Gurnee police.
The statement added that the incident occurred Jan. 23 just after 11 p.m., when police responded to a report of a home invasion in the 1600 block of Belle Plaine Avenue where the victims said two or three suspects forced their way into the home, displayed a handgun and then fled after taking cash from the victim.
Police were able to determine the identity of Boose, according to the statement, and a warrant for his arrest was issued on Jan. 31.
