A gym teacher at a Boston elementary school is accused of touching four female students inappropriately.
Nicholas Speller, 31, of Malden, was arraigned Thursday on four counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under the age of 14.
Officers responded to the Patrick J. Kennedy Elementary School in East Boston at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday after they received a report about an alleged assault.
The alleged victims, who are about 10 years old, reported to the principal that Speller touched them inappropriately on the soccer field at the school.
There are also allegations that Speller appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.
Speller was arrested at the school.
