Normalization of Hard Drugs: Black Professor Says He Does Heroin Casually

The legalization of marijuana and the decriminalization of harder drugs was always a path towards the social normalization of all drug use, including hard drugs, which without fail ruin a person’s life, and make them into slaves.

New York Post:

Carl Hart is a Columbia University professor of psychology and neuroscience. He chairs the psych department and has a fondness for heroin – not only as a subject of scholarly pursuit but also as a substance for personal use.

At 54, the married father of three has snorted small amounts of heroin for as many as 10 days in a row and enjoyed it mightily – even if, as he recalls in his new book “Drug Use for Grown-ups: Chasing Liberty in the Land of Fear” (Penguin Press), he’s experienced mild withdrawal symptoms “12 to 16 hours after the last dose.”

But, as Hart sees it, the discomfort is a worthwhile trade-off.

“There aren’t many things in life that I enjoy more than a few lines by the fireplace at the end of the day,” he writes, pointing out that the experience leaves him “refreshed” and “prepared to face another day.”

Hart, who studies the effects of psychoactive drugs on humans, finds his use of the narcotic to be “as rational as my alcohol use. Like vacation, sex and the arts, heroin is one of the tools that I use to maintain my work-life balance.”

His reason for coming clean about doing opiates and the like is to advocate for decriminalizing possession of recreational drugs. The book makes the case “that the demonization of drug use – not drugs themselves – [has] been a tremendous scourge on America, not least in reinforcing this country’s enduring structural racism,” according to the publisher.

Hart could not be reached for comment.

This is patently absurd. We’ve all known heroin addicts. None of us has ever known anyone who did heroin casually. This guy is obviously lying. Either he’s in the early phases of addiction, or he’s a harder user than he claims, or he’s just making it up totally.

What’s scientific fact is that “12 to 16 hours” is not the withdrawal period for heroin. The withdrawal period is at least a week (a week is the really bad period during which they need to be locked up to deal with). Even people who get addicted to the relatively weak prescription pain killers sometimes have a helluva time getting off of them.

This black guy is probably just pretending. He just wants to be like white people. He is teaching at a white man’s university, and he’s pretending to do a white man’s drug. Because let’s be real – if he was being honest, it would be “I relax by smoking crack every night.”

They are going to begin really ramming this down your throat in the next year or two. The ruling class wants everyone high on drugs, and the way they know how to ensure that happens is to say “just be compassionate.”
