Remember Otto Warmbier? He was arrested and sentenced to 15 years of hard labor for trying to steal a North Korean propaganda poster. His last public appearance before getting hauled off to a prison camp was lol worthy.

US student Otto Warmbier has been freed from jail in North Korea, but his parents say he has been in a coma for a year.
The US secretary of state said the 22-year-old was on his way home to the US.
The Warmbier family told US media they had found out only last week that their son has been in a coma since shortly after his trial in March 2016.
Mr Warmbier was sentenced to 15 years of hard labour for attempting to steal a propaganda sign from a hotel.
I certainly don’t feel sorry for anybody who puts themselves in such a position. If you are an American citizen in North Korea, it’s best to keep as low of a profile as possible. It looks like he didn’t follow that advice. People who have dug up information on Warmbier have also said that he’s a Jew based on groups he’s associated with.
Interestingly enough, Warmbier has been released at the same time as Dennis Rodman’s visit to North Korea. I mentioned this morning that it would be interesting to see if anything happens in conjunction with the visit. While I can’t say definitively, I think there is a chance that Rodman is helping Trump and the State Department with North Korean diplomacy. It certainly can’t be ruled out after seeing this.
Dennis Rodman is presumably the only man on earth who is personally acquainted with both Kim Jong Un and Donald Trump (he appeared on Trump’s TV show, and they consider each other to be personal friends).
Weirdly enough, Warmbier is said to be in a coma after contracting botulism shortly after his sentencing last year. That story sounds a bit fishy. It’s probably more likely that he tried and failed to commit suicide or the North Koreans did something to him. Who the hell knows though.
The larger point to this is that Rodman might actually be engaging in diplomacy on behalf of the United States.
