Let’s put a spotlight on this kontroversial piece of sculpture: a pregnant Kim Kardashian in the nude.
Contemporary sculptor Daniel Edwards unveiled his newest work yesterday, a life-sized figure of the 32-year-old reality star, titled “L.A. Fertility.” Daniel encourages those that visit the LAB ART Gallery in Los Angeles, where the piece is currently on display, to rub the statue’s bare belly for good luck.
Like the breadth of Daniel’s work, the sculpture isn’t just a commentary on the public’s fascination-borderline-obsession with celebrities’ private lives, particularly pregnancy, but also a commentary on the criticism she’s endured over her current weight gain.
