Why do these people constantly claim that “immigration is good for the economy”?
I get that they’ll just say anything. But isn’t that just too bold?
Of the 15 or 20 million people (no one knows the number) Biden has brought into America over the last 4 years, how many of them are living off of the state, simply consuming resources while producing nothing at all?
It feels like “90%” would be a low-ball estimate, especially if you don’t include nonviolent criminality as work (I don’t think anyone would include violent criminality as “work”). If you do include nonviolent criminality as work, maybe 5% of these people are working as drug dealers or prostitutes.
All of the immigrants who wanted to work were already here. The open borders policy is for people who want to leech off the state. And boy do they leech. A hotel room in New York is like, $700 a night. And that’s where a lot of them live: in hotels.
It’s ridiculous.
New York City taxpayers have spent $306 million on migrants since July 1 — bringing the total tab for the ongoing immigration crisis to nearly $5.5 billion, according to new numbers released by the city Thursday.
The figures — which were updated by the Adams administration to include spending since the start of this fiscal year — are hundreds of millions of dollars more than the $5 billion dollar price tab included in earlier city tallies first reported by the Post Tuesday.
In addition to the spending since July, the asylum-seeker funding tracker also adjusted the spending from the prior two fiscal years combined from $4.88 billion to nearly $5.2 billion — for a total of totalling $5.46 billion over the duration of the crisis.
The spending since July includes $112 million on housing/shelter, $137 million for social services and supplies, $29 million on IT and administrative costs, $23 million for food and $7 million for health care.
Why do they need IT?
What does that mean?
And why are “supplies” not the same thing as “food”? Are they talking about supplies for social services? What does that mean? Why is that category more than housing?
I guess I could look this up. That’s probably my job. But this is a government report being cited, and I doubt it makes more sense than the Post’s summary.
The Roosevelt migrant Hotel NYC. @NYPDMTN makes an arrest of an alleged robbery suspect.
The kid must be 10 years old .
I believe this kid is part of a larger robbery crew made of young migrants who have been committing robberies all over midtown and central park .

Editor’s Note:
Elvis Dunderhoff removed the links from the article. (Site policy is that you’re supposed to leave the links in unless they are stupid spammy “key word” links.) I looked into it, however, and he is correct that it is totally useless. Here is the “funds tracker.” It lists things exactly as the Post lists them.
I cannot locate a legitimate breakdown of that, though one would assume it must exist somewhere. The only other breakdown on that site is by agency spending, and those numbers mean nothing to me.
It should be noted that the city is definitely low-balling this. There are also huge numbers of federal funds, and then various NGO funds that are coming from federal funds.
These are the worst people in the world, these people being brought in. They are poor people and criminals. Mexico won’t allow them to live there. Mexico tried to keep them out of their southern border when Biden announced our southern border was open, but they eventually gave up, because they were being overwhelmed, and instead they just sent cops to make sure the “migrants” make it into the US.
If Kid-Killer Kamala ever comments on this situation at all, she’s going to have to denounce it. Everyone hates this. Liberals like to feel lovey-dovey about helping poor brown people. Or they used to. But this immigration thing used to only affect the lower classes in America; now it affects the middle classes and even rich people (who at least have to look at these bums on the streets). No one is supporting this anymore.
To be clear: US elections are fake and Kid-Killer Kamala could come out and endorse this and still “win.” But even though elections are fake, the government wants people engaged with the system, so she is going to denounce this, Democrats are now breaking down homeless encampments, she’s probably not going to push child trannies – those are three things basically all people really hate and that Biden went crazy with.
If Kamala ever says any positions at all – and that is a big “if” – she is going to say none of this Biden stuff was her responsibility. I suppose that is true, technically. But it is her party.
